Completely utterly unprofessional, uncaring, and greedy. I called them 1 day past their 60 day cancellation window. 1 day. ONE DAY. Right at the start of the corona virus panic. I was told I would be worked with due to the circumstances that was going on. They pushed it out a week for me to receive an e-mail that They WOULD not refund me, but that they would reschedule my trip. We currently have a condo booked. Due to the national emergency because of the Coronavirus, the event that we were planning to attend has been cancelled and we will no longer be able to make it to Florida. Even though VRBO is advising owners to give refunds to those asking for it, Shore Dreams Vacations is refusing to give any type of refund. 😡
We have been made aware that Shore Dreams Vacation Rentals does not require their owners to maintain liability insurance. Are the renters made aware of this situation? What if there is an injury?

DO NOT do business with Shore Dreams Vacation!!! This is a very DISHONEST company!!!! I made reservations in March, and unfortunately (now, more like a blessing in disguise....) had to cancel. At the time of booking, they advertised 'Free Cancelation' and they are still advertising 'Free Cancelation' on the property that I reserved, but now they are not honoring it, even though I canceled within the time frame. The unit we rented was NOT well maintained and after we believed we had items stolen from the parking garage (left beach items near car, no rules against it in our rental agreement) they were no help viewing garage footage or reaching out to the HOA for help. - so they pretty much assisted in us losing our items. Such unprofessional employees working at Shore Dreams.

Well get ready for the rant, and to find a new Destin rental company. Upon arrival at gulf sands east, the place was TERRIBLE. I mean something I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in. Not to mention, we called for early check in- and were expecting a call back while waiting outside for 2 hours with fresh groceries before anyone called us back, so we waited until 4pm and ended up with spoiled milk and meat 🙃 When 4pm came around, the code on the door didn’t work for another 30 minutes PAST our check in time....(lucky us) when we w... read more

we used this company several weeks ago to stay in Destin FL. when we arrived they were not expecting us and never sent the reservation for us when we arrived security told us they couldn't help us. We waited over an hour before we were able to access our room. Prior to arriving however someone guy who works for the company called to advise us there would be additional charges for our pets. However when we made the reservation it showed pet friendly and also stated all charges were included. A pet fee was not listed. When th... read more

Horrible service!!! Body hair on the sheets and was a nightmare to get it swapped and cleaned...as in around 11 pm and called around 9 pm to report it. With 2 little ones that was too late for them to be awake!!! The condo @ Santa Rosa Beach Beachwood Villa...it’s also old and needs to be updated and repaired. 3 drawer fronts were broken.

The old saying that an insurance company is only as good as how they handle a claim holds true for vacation rental agencies. We have rented from Shore Dreams Vacation Rentals for 4 or 5 times and really have not had any issues until this past week of Thanksgiving. With this stay, we really found out just exactly how good, or with our case, how poor they really are.
