The office was dirty and messy exam room. Front desk was rude to several customers and scheduling was a mess . My appointment was 45 minutes late

I went to the Baywood location for an knee and hand xray and simple CT Scan. I waited for hour for my procedures during that entire time I sat in the lobby I counted at least 10 people who the desk staff were calling to tell them their insurance had not approved the procedure yet they needed to reschedule plus about 5 more people who actually showed up for an appointment to be told their insurance hadn't even approved their procedure yet and are rescheduled hoping their insurance would approve it by then. Long wait time and didn’t get a chance to completely breathe in before the X-ray was taken. I have a slow heart rate so I breathe slowly. Should ask patient before if there are any differences that they should be aware of before the X-ray.

Tried to sign in on line, web site was not user friendly. I overheard a lot of the patients coming into the office say the same thing about the web site... Simon Med changed my appointment location as the machine was broke at the first location. 2nd location was way over booked and I waited an hour before I got my CT scan. I thought the tech were a bit rude to one lady. The techs stand back in the hallway and yell for you when it is time for your to go back to get whatever procedure you came for. 1. Front desk person was rude. Patient before me was told to fill out paper or she couldn’t be seen. Patient had already told her she had a stroke snd couldn’t write. I finally stepped in and asked the patient if she would like my help. Front desk person was not offering her help. 2, I have a login to your patient portal but can’t get my results for my latest scan because it says you don’t have my phone number or email address? Very disappointed. After speaking to the appointment clerk about how important an MRI I was scheduling was. She schedule me for today, only to tell me when I got there that I could not get the MRI because it was not approved. When I first spoke to her I was told she did not have the authorizations for the other 2 MRI’s. Mysteriously, those 2 appeared & the most important one disappeared. So I cancelled my weekend trip up north for nothing. So infuriating. I understand people make mistakes, but I stressed it several t... read more

Imagine my surprise when payment due was more than double the estimate from the text message received prior to visit. I will avoid this provider in the future as well as share my experience with anyone and everyone I encounter in need of their services.

The tech and receptionist were great. I was not able to get my scan until they verified my copay and I paid it. Not sure what people do that don’t have their copay. People were coughing and no masks. Wait was too long.
