I had a CT scheduled for Monday. Five minutes before the appointment, I received a phone call that their machine went down. They told me they would try to squeeze me in the next morning. I was able to get in on Tuesday and I was told by the technician the results will be back to my doctor within two business days. It’s been two business days, and no updates. When patients have 2 sets of imaging to do, they should give a 5 mins break in between. It's no fun stuck in the tube for over half an hour. I recommend to announce the process of the imaging. For example, next image is scanning your right hip, it will take about 15 minutes. This way, the patient knows what's going on and not felt angst.
