I recently had a liver Elastography Ultrasound at the DEER VALLEY location in Phoenix which indicated per the radiologist report that I had full blown F4 Cirrhosis of the liver. I have had no history of liver issues up until this point and my liver enzymes have been perfect, so it didn't seem to make sense. I could see maybe a F1 or F2 stage being detected which is fatty liver and reversable but to be read as late stage liver issues just seemed so odd especially since I was not high risk for liver issues with no symptoms. ... read more
Wonderful doctors. Absolutely terrible staff. I went in for a CAT Scan for my broken ankle and needed a wheelchair from my Uber to the office. They wouldn’t provide one and my Uber driver had to go in and find one for me herself. When I was finally wheeled to the check in counter and finished the paperwork, I was told I needed to move my wheelchair, I asked if I could get some help to move it and the check in person told me that she “doesn’t get paid to do that”. Deer Valley at 101 and 27th Ave. Receptionist was pleasant enough. Mammogram technician was efficient and professional. DEXA scan technician was borderline rude. He seemed bored with his work. I will never go back to this location.
Typically I have used Simon Med on 27th Ave. & the 101 for several years, however yesterday was a less than pleasant experience. Yesterday the receptionist was less than pleasant and there was only one other person ahead of me. The wait time was reasonable. I was then called to the X-ray area and the technician was very curt and quick with his directions. No professionalism at all! The X-ray was quick. First off the man that scheduled my appt told me one location, after arriving at that location the gal said he scheduled it at another location. Arriving at 2nd location the gal in front said she had never heard of my secondary ins. & would have to call to verify. Which had already been taken care of as I had been to SM numerous times prior to this visit. The only good thing is they got me in right away for my MRI - the tech that did the MRI was less than friendly.
Worst customer service from front desk from EMMA, unwilling to assist in locating another facility due to my time issues, luckily the new girl SIENA WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIND ME A LOCATION THAT BETTER FIT MY NEEDS, the whole time Emma is being disrespectful after I ask her nicely to mind her business because at this point I’m already being assisted and if SIENA NEEDED ASSISTANCE SHE WOULD HAVE ASKED…….. Very unhappy with this place (BTW I will not be going back, nor will I recommend this place to anyone). My wife had back surgery and was scheduled for a post opp x-ray for a doctor's visit. She RECEIVED a text a few days before her visit stating that SimonMed had received the doctor's order for the x-ray. We showed up on time and my wife went to check in...the young lady said that they DID NOT receive an order for the x-rays. Terrible! Never had the MRIs DONE😡I checked in at 1:30, half hour before 2:00 appt like you instructed, and at 3:35 I finally had enough and left. I was told my appt was cancelled and rescheduled for 4:00 without anyone even telling me as I sat there😡. The 2 receptionists could care less about the line of people waiting to check in. I waited 15 minutes to just check in after checking in on my text from you. People after me waited 30 minutes.. to just check in..terrible service!
The headrest left red uncomfortable indentions in my forehead and a two inch red sore above my left eye . It was a very painful day with eye packs to reduce the swelling.
