SimonMed imaging customer service is horrible. They have canceled my appointment 2x already at 2 different locations. Stating the same thing that the machine is down. When trying to reschedule again it takes 4 calls to get an appointment rescheduled and then they want to schedule months away. I dont understand if you cancel on me why do I have to wait weeks for an appointment. That now I been waiting forfor over a month and a half. I pray I dont have cancer since it is a diagnostic visit. Consistent with other complaints, they are just plain STEALING MONEY.Here is my situation: I needed an MRI, and my insurance deductible was met when I walked in, so should be 100% covered by my insurance. They mentioned some confusing insurance jargon and told me I need to pay $238 for a scan. I needed the scan so I was stuck and paid it. I cleared this up with my insurance company a day later and Simon Med told me I would need to wait 30 days for insurance to come in for a reimbursement. Annoying, but fine. SimonMed now requires payment up front, before service is rendered otherwise, they will not perform service. Against our better judgement and after being harassed by their front office staff, we paid up front and the service was performed. Once our insurance company issued the *** for that service and after we reviewed, we saw SimonMed grossly overbilled based on our insurance deductible balance paid.After a couple calls to their medical billing team, they agreed they grossly overbilled but told us it would take ************... read more

I did one star. If available it would be 0 or a negative number.The service at the locations are excellent. The billing is a disaster. I can not decided if it is outright theft or blatant negligence in their management.I had testing done beginning in February 2023. Their were a hand full of appointment this year. They require a payment plan at time of service and a minimum $50 on date of service. As soon as I have an EOB from the insurance company, I cancel the payment plan and pay the remaining balance due immediately.I can... read more

Like others, if there was a 0 rating I'd use it. SimonMed incorrectly billed us and after several calls to ******* Services and sending documentation that we had paid the bill, the representative admitted that they had the payment. He said "Not to worry, I cleared your bill". That was in January. I received another bill in February, called again, and was told to disregard the bill because he could see that our account was adjusted, that the February invoice crossed in the system. SimonMed overcharged me for a service on Nov.1, 2022 and after repeated attempts to resolve and repeatedly being told that a credit would be issued in **** business days, no credit has been issued. Calls to the call center repeat the script that the topic has been escalated and it will be **** business days. No one in the call center is available to resolve. This is unacceptable for a procedure that is approved through insurance and has costs to be charged upon arrival.

I had routine imaging done at SimonMed on 07/24/2023. Even though I have a HRA with money in it to cover the procedure, they insisted on up front payment (which would be fine if their refund policy was remotely ethical ***** business days is a joke as it can be immediate if they want). I did a payment plan and paid $50 up front because I knew I would have trouble getting my money back due to previous experiences. My HRA, as expected, paid for the visit. I have had no problems...at all..with the x-ray technicians nor with the staff at the front desks. They have been SUPERB! I have been to the SimonMed on ***************** and the one on ********. However, trying to get a CAT scan scheduled has been a MAJOR disaster. After speaking with a representative I am always transferred to someone else to do the "actual" schedulding. NO ONE EVER picks up the phone. And that is after trying three times yesterday and today!I even tried to do the on-line scheduling, which was recommended ... read more
