I have never had a worse experience with a business. I should have known better after it took be 2 hours to get an appointment scheduled. I waited on hold, got passed around 4 times to different people and all of that took 2 hours to make a simple appointment and the only location they could get me in for was an hour away from my home even though there are SEVERAL Simonmed's near my home as I live in a urban area. Charging me 400.10 for ultrasound on abdomen. UHC says I don't have a copay. Scheduler says speak to billing. Billing says scheduler must call insurance. Insurance gave me their name and reference #. I have been re scheduled 3 xs only to find out the 3rd one was canceled. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. At this rate I'm going to hospital just in case it's life threatening. Unbelievable. This has been going on since the beginning of April and today is 5/4/21 SHAME ON YOU SIMONMED IMAGING
Terrible customer service to say the least! I have many experiences with Simonmed Imaging for over 7 years and they have been horrible. Trying to reschedule or make an appointment is almost impossible since the staff is not trained well or able to comprehend English very good. How many complaints do customers need to make in order to have the BBB give them lower than an A+ rating? The people I came in contact with were great! My issue is the automated calls at 6:00 am to schedule an appointment for follow-up images. I called and complained yesterday, the woman I spoke to said she was emailing the supervisor so the issue would be resolved, This morning I got another call at 6:09 am. I don't understand how they can set a system up to call people at a VERY inappropriate time. ***** *
In my opinion, SimonMed has the worst customer service of any provider I have every dealt with. They direct you to a web site to make appointments but after you try that the site says call the office. If you call the office, you are forced to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes. When an agent finally answers, you discover they are poorly trained and can't speak basic english. Then the agent's computer system will freeze up and they need to reboot, keeping you on the line longer. It took me 45 minutes just to make an appointment. ... read more
I made an appointment for MRI online. The front desk clerk Desiree in the San Tan Valley office told me that she didn't have any appointments set up for me and she set an appointment for the 28th of April my appointment was April 16th at 4:40 pm. She was very short and very rude about the appointment because I pushed back saying I do have an appointment I do have confirmation email from you guys saying the appointment is scheduled for today and on my online account. SimonMed have the worst employees that does billing. There were two billing errors from only one visit to their clinic. They charged me twice and both bills have different amount charges. I call 5 times, each took half an hour on the phone waiting for someone to pick up and each time they told me to call back for updates. The last time I called they told me that they are not going to refund me the $100 they over charged me. I called to schedule a bariam swallow test over the phone and was on hold for almost an hour so I decided to schedule online. I didn't see this actual test listed but made the appointment anyway. I called again to confirm the test and the representative assured me everything was set. On the day of the test, I had to fast and my appointment was not until the afternoon. I requested they send an MRI scan completed four months ago to a provider who needed to review it but several calls over several days to the medical records number resulted in my leaving multiple voicemail messages. No live person ever picked up the call. No-one has returned the calls so it seems that this organization does not provide this service. I'm quite disgusted and frustrated with this dreadful organization and would suggest anyone needing medical imaging use a competitor. ***** *
