Hi everyone, JT here, just a regular guy, had not been to a dentist for over 15 years. Came in to get my old metal fillings replaced with "healthier" ones. I have been with Dr. Hansford for 17/18 years. I would highly recommend Dr. Hansford & staff to anyone looking for a great dentist & caring staff. I have had many procedures done over the years crown, bridges, root canals etc. and have been very happy with all of them. No one loves to go to the dentist, however my experience confirms that some dentists are certainly better than others. At Dr. Hansford's I was introduced to having my teeth cleaned by laser rather than the old scraping, picking, and poking procedure. I love it; it is fast and muchn less uncomfortable. I have also had several crowns replaced and now a bridge. The crowns were removed and replaced within one visit! After my retirement I no longer had dental extended health benefits so it was time to sit down with Dr. Hansford and his staff to discuss the best path forward concerning my dental health. I had endured a lifetime of hygiene sessions, fillings, root canals and crowns. I could no longer afford this so we made the decision to extract "bad" natural teeth and add a tooth to my bridge. I would like to share my recent experience with implant surgery. The whole process was much easier than I expected. I had sedation for the original tooth removal and implant. I would have it again in a minute. When I left the office I was not drugged to speak of. We had lunch and I felt quite normal. I don't remember much about the surgery but I was awake the entire time and felt no anxiety. The hardest part was going without my tooth for 5 months. It was one I used to chew on . most of the time. Dr. Hansford is an exceptional dentist. His office is very warm and welcoming. His staff is excellent to deal with and provided great care when putting in a new crown for me. Dr. Hansford is both caring and extremely knowledgeable, making dental visits more relaxing and stress free. All dental equipment is top-notch and the office is clean and beautifully decorated. Dr. Hansford is very professional and responsible. My problem teeth filled by him are much better than before. I really appreciate that Dr. Hansford has taken his time to listen to my concerns about my teeth and answer my questions. Moreover, I am exited that they have air polishing, and I did find my teeth look whiter after the air polishing.
The most advanced dental office I have ever had the pleasure of going to. No expense is spared in advanced technology. I feel very well looked after and respected as a patient. The staff are amazing!
