3/18/2019 - Booked an appointment at a Smile Direct Club. Very pleasant experience. In and out within 30 minutes. The Smile Tech was a pleasure to speak/work with. I would definitely recommend doing it in person as opposed to doing the impression kit. Details about my visit. You have the option to put a $250 down payment, and $80 a month for 24 months or pay in full $1850.00. The technician Sara at this Charlotte location did a great job on scanning my teeth and informing me on how SmileDirectClub works. She walked me through all the steps and benefits and listened to my smile concerns. I’m looking forward to having straighter and whiter teeth

BUYER BEWARE… I started my SmileDirect journey in September 2020 as I had some crowding on the bottom teeth in the front and a pronounced overbite on the top that I was hoping to improve. The plan was “supposed” to last 4 months. It is now April 2022 - EIGHTEEN MONTHS LATER!! - and I have yet to reach my desired results despite only needing a fairly mild adjustment as I had braces previously as a teen. What a disappointing experience. I visited this location over a month ago. The in person experience was not bad. A friend and I went at the same time and the second we walked out of the the door she was flooded with follow up emails. I received nothing for 6 days. I put a card on file to process my payment once the aligners/ imaging was approved. I reached out since I had not heard anything and was informed I was not a candidate for the aligners.
