Verified Renter Unit was not cleaned at all when we arrived. Plumbing didnt work and there were dead bugs everywhere. I spent the first 3 days i move din bleaching every surface in the apt since i dont think anyone came to clean it

Verified Renter Terrible customer service in the first week. Rent is too high for the trouble that we went through. We eventually got ahold of management and held a 1:1 meeting to discuss the issues and that did assist (just wish it happened way earlier with the chaotic issues that our apartment had).

Verified Renter If I could submit 0 stars I would. I do not recommend Smile at all. The people at the front desk are unhelpful. They pointed me in the wrong direction to get an issue resolved. A simple issue should have been solved within 5 minutes yet it took them 2 weeks with me having to go to the front desk 4 times. They have no idea what they are doing. Do not lease with Smile!!!

Verified Renter maintenance is poor and leasing agents didn’t give us portable ac units or fans until 3 weeks into having a broken AC. People barely reply to their emails and it’s hard to get in contact with people

Verified Renter Constantly have giant flies fly into my apartment, and I don’t even live near the trash cans. The apartment is also old despite being “newly renovated”

Verified Renter Service is not good. After we recieved our apartment keys we found out there are lots of issues and all of that things required urgent attention. Its been a month and no one has came from the smile team even after making complaints 10 times

Verified Renter Loved at smile for a year and 90% of the times it was pretty annoying. Wouldn’t recommend staying here because they charge you for the smallest of things

Verified Renter At the beginning of our lease, Smile was non-communicative. I understand that everyone was dealing with troubles then, but it would've been nice of them to communicate through email that they were overwhelmed instead of letting emails go unanswered for weeks on end and then to suddenly have three people respond to the same email in a day. Verified Renter My unit was fine, but one of my building neighbors’ units flooded multiple times. I guess I got lucky in what unit I picked. I would not recommend living here.
