The overall experience with Smith Douglas Homes was fine. There were issues with the build quality. The model home was different from the home we got. We were supposed to get the same home as the model home, with everything in it. There were some discrepancies. The walk-through experience wasn't what it should have been. The caulking job was done badly and had to be redone in some areas. The comfort height toilet was supposed to be in the master bathroom, but it was installed in the downstairs bathroom.
