Way too cookie-cutter builder, with obvious design flaws that could have been corrected easily early in the process, but area manager giving what sounded like scripted responses that nothing could be done--would not recommend this company to anyone unless they were much more aware of how things are done with this company. The warranty is horrible.
Unfortunately there were many things Smith Douglas either didn’t tell us or try to act as though the quality of their product was the standard. Being somebody who’s built homes before I was truly sad at the quality of the work for the amount of money that we paid. The model home that we viewed did not Represent what we purchased. The sales people told us that multiple things we asked about were going to be in our home and they were wrong. Be ready to not have any request acknowledged or denied.
Not willing to work with the customer.
This is purely from a construction standpoint. The sales associate and process were a joke!
My issues are with warranty, and several items not being taken care of. See note below. I cannot and will not recommend this company, nor will my next house be purchased from you. All of my neighbors feel the same way.
