We purchased two homes from Smith Douglas and have had nothing but problems with the construction from the beginning. There was a complete lack of project management, construction expertise, and quality workmanship. had it not been for my own realtor and the Smith Douglas sales management team, we wouldn't have gotten anything close to what we paid for.

I am incredibly disappointed with Smith Douglas Homes because I did not get the home that I was promised. Many things were not done as they said they should be done and I would never recommend Smith Douglas Homes to anyone.

We have been living in our home for a month now and there are still outstanding items that need to be completed with now hurry from the builder.

Who wants to move into a new home and have to wait weeks, and in my case months for basic services? The his is not Smith Douglas’s first new subdivision so not having services set up is inexcusable. The excuse I got was “these Things are to be expected in a New subdivision “ and “we don’t know where the disconnect is”. No I would never recommend this nightmare to others

I've had several issues, just overall build quality. I've just put in a warranty request for my second-floor toilet. It's leaking at the rim. I can see out of the seal on my front door. It allows bugs and animals to come into my home. So, at this time, the rating will be a one.

I am not likely to recommend Smith Douglas Homes because there are things that I went over during orientation that my project manager pointed out such as stains in the granite kitchen counter top, popping and creaking of the floors, and they're still not fixed to this day.
