5 Star all the way I used SML packers to load and unload my truck for a long distance move. I could not have been more pleased. They were efficient, excellent, caring ,considerate, and took excellent care of my belongings. They did not waste time. They had a spirit of excellence and high integrity. I would recommend this company to everyone. They were friendly and caring. Helpful in any way they could. I give them 5 stars all across the board.
Waste of time and money, slow movers! The helpers that arrived to load my truck had no experience in what they were doing at all! They were not movers only helpers the two young men moved at a snails pace and were not at all educated on how to pack or tie anything down. I would not recommend this service or use them again! After they completed the job and I called in their time I also told they lady I was not happy with the performance and she was not really interested! late not on time. Not secure load in truck
Make sure you tell them you need a truck and movers because they won't ask 1week before, We scheduled packers on Friday morning at 8am and the move for Saturday morning at 8am. On Thursday we get call that they had to reschedule for packers tome at 2p and the move on Saturday at 2pm. Basically they bumped us for some other move. The packers arrived, were courteous, clean., professional. Did there job and left. On Saturday, 2 guys arrived from San Antonio (we live NW austin) but they had no moving truck. Excellent performance by the crew Both members of the team that helped with the loading did an excellent job of keeping the work being completed in a timely manner
not good The three young men who showed up knew little about moving. They came with little equipment and were anything but professional. I didn't have time to examine my home after they left but the one black young man that moved the dresser from the upstairs slid it on the floor and scratched the floor and then left a gouge in the stairwell wall . This was only a preliminary move and when we move the rest of our furniture I can assure you we will not be using this service.
SML made the move much simpler. We really appreciate their help. The load-up went flawlessly. The three movers were professional and efficient. The unload was a bit chaotic, but only because the regularly-scheduled crew was still on another job, so a second crew was dispatched. Chad arrived on time and was very professional. Disappointed Hired movers to load a 26 ft truck in SC and a crew in NC to unload. SC crew ran antique couch into doorway so it now has white paint in several places on ornate wood top. One big plastic tub fell from top of stack in truck during transit and smashed -- contents were unbearable but got a few dents. Unloading crew in NC were did not seem professional.
