Poor customer service and sales I would not recommend Solar Energy World for your solar needs. Interaction with their sales/customer service representatives was a headache. They missed meetings, failed to coordinate meetings, failed to share information between coworkers, and failed in scheduling. I was contacted by one sales representative who did not respond. Worst experience of my life All I can say is do not do business with this company! This company took over 6 months to install my solar. They lied to me the whole time about permitting and timelines, broke multiple electrical components of my brand new circuit breaker and then charged me to fix it, and worst of all took money from me to upgrade my electric panel and then refused to perform the service and have not refunded my money. Good Company but need upgrades to Inverter and Software I am writing this review after 8 months of my solar installation. I choose them as it was highly recommended by my friend. I was impressed at the beginning of how they took care of the installation process with all approvals from townships and how the job got done professionally. Rip Off Company Salesman lied and made statements that were not true! Would NOT recommend this company. Please note law suit in California against this company! Meh There was nothing exceptional with the service or installation. They had initially erected the ground array, which looked nice, but were required to lower it per county inspector, resulting in a sloppy looking ground array. I had to complain about their workmanship - the installer attempted to use duck tape on a beam endcap. I didn't pay 60k for duck tape. They remediated the duck tape. Awful solar analysts We decided to go solar through the Montgomery Co-op of Solar United Neighbors since we got a better price and warranty. Solar Energy World was the company selected by the co-op to install our 9Kw/30 panels solar system. We had a very poor experience with the company and in particular with their solar analysts.The two solar analysts who worked on our project showed a incredible lack of knowledge and customer care. Roof Leaks Panels were installed 20 months ago. Roof has been leaking since install. repairs have been attempted 4 times and it still leaks. I last called about new leaks 16 days ago, still no call back. Think I'll just remove panels myself, repair damage and send bill to corporate. I'm done with this company.
Complete rip off I have had the solar panels turned on for about 3 months and they have done nothing for my electric bill. I've basically just been paying two electric bills for one house.
