Staff was friendly and knew all the residents. Residents had their doors open, leading me to believe they feel safe and welcoming of others. Clean and no bad odors. It was a small community & inviting - not overwhelming. Homey feeling…lots of staff around in all areas with the residents.
We were very pleased to see the size of the living space and the shower/bathroom as this would be a very new experience for my mother who now has dementia. The care staff was friendly and engaged with their residents. This is very comforting to see. Also liked being asked specific questions that would tailor greatly to my mother's care.
My mother is enjoying her time at the Sonata due to the warm friendly staff and modern facilities. The care has been high quality thus far and the overall program/facility is well organized and well-run. The campus is also pretty with lots of trees and spread out (allowing residents to eat outside, etc).

The staff are very friendly and for the most part responsive to questions and requests from residents and family members. They had a really good special offer just when we needed to find a place due to me needing surgery and [name removed] needing care. They worked with us to make sure we met the deadline to get the deal. The administrative staff were very helpful

Facility is clean and bright Staff friendly. Lots of activities for residents to partake in. Orientation to the facility of resident and family of resident could improve. Food is okay. Monotonous. Pets are allowed so that’s nice.

It's been great so far. They need a bit more coverage but it's been alright. Great environment and atmosphere. Very homelike. Good level of care, but could consider additional staff for L4 L5 care.

Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. They need to Hire a new chef. Also, two activities directors have quit or be fired in the five months I have been there.
My mom really wanted to go there because my grandmother was there several years ago and she really liked the place. I would recommend to others.
My mother loves living at Sonata at Coconut Creek. She likes the activities and the food. And it's affordable on a limited budget. Great all around - wish we had done it sooner!
