RecommendedEverybody cares!!! From person answering the call and listening to your nervous voice asking to see the doctor because pet is in pain to all staff helping when you enter the place and honest doctors ! They explain clearly and patiently if you ask questions and also they are professional!!! Thank you for taking care of my dog

My senior chihuahua suffered from severe periodontal disease. She needed a dental cleaning and polishing and 21 teeth extracted. I was SO hesitant in going through with the procedure because I was nervous to put her under anesthesia but I needed to do what was best for her and make sure she wouldn’t be in pain anymore with a diseased mouth, so I went through with the procedure. I've used SPAH for pet care on and off for nearly 10 years. They were incredible with my pet rats so many years ago, and Dr. Singleton treated them (and me) with the utmost respect and care - even though many would tell me they're "just" small animals. I have yet to have a poor experience here, even when news isn't great. Even though different vets see my pets here, they're always up to speed on their history and current troubles, and always have wonderful insights. the staff and doctor were great and made our Dude's first visit easy and pleasant.
My husband and I just moved to south Austin and were looking for a new vet for our 4.5 y/o mini Aussie and 3 mo. old mini Aussie puppy. I took my puppy, Cosmo, here for his shots and an ear infection after a friend told me how much she loved it here. I am SO glad I took her advice! First, they were soooo friendly when we came in. Nugget is my first pet so tonight was my first vet experience and I am so grateful to have such an amazing vet so close to home!! I felt heard and I learned so much! Will be recommending this animal hospital to anyone who asks!

Dr. Singleton is the best vet we've ever encountered! He has provided exceptional and individualized care for our aging pitbull who has had many health challenges over the past few years. His warmth and compassion are unmatched! We can't thank you all enough.
They take such good care of my baby- literally the whole team at SPAH is so caring and concerned. I recently took my dog in because he was very sick. They gave him the medication he needed and Dr East caught something that no one else has before. It’s far from good news to have a possible neurological disorder, but I’d rather know than not. I’m forever grateful for her thoroughness and concern for my sweet boy. And I’m so glad everyone loves on him like they do. Seriously amazing team!
