As a senior dog advocacy that provides medical sponsorships to shelter dogs, we use the clinic frequently for servicing many foster dogs in S Austin. All of the Dr's are very warm, open, transparent, compassionate and always present a wide range of treatment options between conservative care and very aggressive care so we can make the most informed and appropriate choices. I'm pretty sure this is my first online review of anything, ever. But I want to say how much I appreciate South Park Animal Hospital. I've been bringing my pet here since I got her earlier this year, and while I was already very happy with my choice in vet, my experience the other day compels me to write this review. We had a great first visit today with our kitty, ButtonZ. The vet tech was super nice, and the veterinarian took a lot of time with us and you can tell she really cares a lot about cats. She said she owns one. I highly recommend coming here to this vet office. I could tell they genuinely care about keep animals safe and healthy in the community, and their costs were very reasonable compared to the last clinic we went to. They care about people affording care for their animals.

My cat was diagnosed with kidney disease & his condition worsened to the point of needing help. We brought him to South Park as we heard GREAT reviews! They examined him & let us know he didn't have long. We made the decision to keep him home one night & return the next day for euthanasia. THE WHOLE TEAM WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND & SUPPORTIVE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!!

I had never typically gone here for vet appointments, but for taking your animals out of the country they require USDA certified Providers to sign off for the pet passport. Bri especially has been great in coordinating all of this, and can't thank them enough. I would be completely lost on this process without them walking us through this.

Love love love this vet! Go here for both my dog and cat and absolutely enjoy each time we come (minus the costs haha). They have a separate side just for cats which is really nice, makes handling way less stressful. The vets and techs are always so sweet to the animals and very honest and clear about treatment possibilities and costs. They also checked in with me over text when my cat was having tummy issues, even outside of regular hours. That was really impressive (though of course not required)! We were SO impressed and breathe a sigh of RELIEF from the peace of mind with Dr Corbett and Holly and the other supernice ladies there when our dog was 11 and they were (our late pup's) vet. They previously gave results and comfort at a fair price but then when Dear One was around 13, 14 (she has since psased in 2022) when I had to cancel due to having to prioritize a situation in my caregiving job (with disabled young adults) they DUMPED us from their services and sent the chart to us! i DID NOT blow off the appointments (... read more
