My wife and I brought our puppy for a check up and some concerns in January 2021. They said they would run all the tests and get back to us if there were any concerns. We didn’t hear anything back. No news is good news right?! WRONG!!! TWO days ago my dog was hospitalized with kidney failure. He was sent home with COMFORT CARE. That means we will loose our baby soon. He is only 2 years old. The ONLY good vet that they have ever had, they FIRED. Reception is understaffed and rude.
When we got our dog at 2 years old he had already been a patient there since he was a puppy so we thought why not to continue?! We met his vet, Dr Weppner and absolutely loved her!! She really is very good. We have called for various things through the past 3 years and the office is terrible with calling us back. RecommendedI am no longer a customer of this vet clinic and haven’t been for many years but I called them today because my regular vets office was closed. Yes bad planning on my part; but my dog is on a specialized diet and I’m out of the food. So I called this vet clinic thinking they probably sell the food. Well, they do, but just like they have always been, they won’t sell me an 8 lbs bag of the food with out an appointment. I purposely made an appointment for an annual exam to get Bravecto. I was quoted $120 they took blood for heartworm I told them my dog is on heartworm 12 months out of the Year why does he need a blood test they did it anyway they gave my dog a kennel cough vaccine and a parvo vaccine he is 10 years old and he is the only dog in the household he does not go to dog parks and he does not go to Doggy Daycare why would you give him a kennel cough vaccine so my quote of 120 turn to 241 not happy with this facility
Not happy at all my daughter and son in laws dog has been a patient here for 6 1/2 years. He had cancer. Today my son in law called to get him in to be put to sleep because he was suffering. They could not see him at all this week. Seriously they asked if he was dead. Seeing he was alive they could not find a spot for an appt to end his suffering. My husband and I have been coming here for years for our dogs Bosco and Khloe. Our dog Bosco had passed and we recently got a new puppy and have taken her here as well. We moved to Southwick but still decided to stay with Westover. Well today my husband drove an hour (with traffic) for an appt for our dog Khloe. My dog hurt his mouth while being in a crate and I was too scared to look in his mouth because there was blood everywhere I thought that maybe his tongue was missing so I brought him in for them to just look at his mouth to see what was going on and the next thing I know I got $160 bill I wasn't even allowed to go back there with him while the doctor was looking at him not recommended at all
