Our girl, Panda, had a rapidly developing swelling in her hind foot. My regular vet couldn't see her until Tuesday (7 days forward). I was worried it would be so much worse by then. She's a big girl so I am unable to lift her that requires her to carry her own weight. SOVSC were able to see her within an hour. They examined her, formed a plan and we carried it out. RecommendedI took my cat there last night. Watson was in a lot of pain. Everyone in there was very nice and helpful. We finally made it home together but would not have without their great staff who work there. They worked with me so I could have the best outcome possible. Very cheerful, loving people. Very friendly professional establishment.. we had a puppy with no idea of what could be wrong.. they gave good quality care and compassion.. even called me in the middle of the night with updates.. and yes our puppy is doing better now..
About 6 weeks ago Remi our five year ago dachshund lost complete function of his back legs and bladder control within 36 hours. We had taken him in to our vet as soon as we noticed something was wrong. He was placed on medication to hopefully help, thinking he slipped a disc in his back. During the night he progressively got worse, so we took him back in and our local vet, which told us he needed emergency surgery. Our rescue kitty, Boo, was only 18 months old and she had some congenital diaphragm problems. We decided to go ahead with surgery but the surgeon and team ran into some unforeseen problems. My wife and I visited three hours after the surgery and we decided to let her go. It was difficult and emotional but the surgeon, staff and techs were compassionate, showed empathy and took great care of our little family member after she passed. We will always appreciate that.
