RecommendedSouthside is full of some of the most compassionate and caring staff I have ever met. When my baby Jaks seizures contuined to plague him at 16 and I decided it was enough suffering they took me in immediately. They treated my baby with absoulte care and compassion. When the vet was held up their staff came in and checked with me multiple times to make sure I was okay. Our hearts are definitely broken as we arrived with our handsome 11 years old corgi, Maverick having a seizure. These were a new onset for him and we knew that wasn't good. They tried giving him medication to stol the seizure, but it didn't do that. Another poor outlook. It would seem our handsome, very much loved Pembroke Welsh corgi was struck down by a brain tumor and we were forced to say our heartbreaking goodbyes. Hands down the best vet clinic I've ever used for my furbabies. I have pups with complicated health issues and they were awesome in diagnosing, treating, and helping me understand and choose the best care possible for my pups. Dr. White is the best! Clinic staff is super helpful. I am so thankful for how much they loved and cared for my pups and understood my dedication to my furbabies. We drive 8 hours round trip to take our pets to Southside Animal Hospital. Not only do they take great care of our pets, everyone is lovely to work with. We feel completely at ease leaving our older hound with them overnight. They also nursed our rescued kitten back to health and he is now thriving. If you're in San Angelo or not, this is the best veterinary care available. 5 stars highly recommend!
We've been with them for 9yrs with our present dog & then some with our cats. Always friendly, the place is clean & we like our vet, Dr. White. Will always recommend them to friends.👍👍👍
We have been using Southside Animal Hospital for over 3 years now. Dr. White is our preferred veterinarian. I always ask for her when making appointments. She is very thorough, compassionate, and I like the fact that she remembers us and the issues that our pets have when we visit.
Really impressed with the caring staff and wonderful vet. we took our dog in to find out he had congestive heart failure. The vet explained every thing in full detail and provided us with medication to be able to have a few more months with him...When his illness finally got the best of him, we contacted the office and they were very caring and explained what the final stages would be upon his passing.
