The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We njoyex the location as it was convenient for our purposes. They ate pet friendly; that was very important to us i would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. On the down side, the first day we were there, the hor tub jets were not working, but the staff got right on it to fix. The fire place in our room did not work particularly well. Suggestions for a better stay Here’s my assessment of my stay. I’ll start with the good: I love the fireplace in the room. Definitely one of the bigger reasons I went with Southwest Inn… great location. We booked a handicapped room, which was a decent room when you need a walk in shower, however the second day of our 5 night stay, not sure if a pipe burst in the ceiling or the people above us caused a major water leak, but we came back to our room to find water pouring in from the ceiling in the bathroom in a few places. Unfortunately our fireplace barely had a flame and the hot water for the jet tub was Luke warm. 2 features we looked Forward to having but were unable use. Staff was nice during check in.
The room was clean and in good shape. The info online promised a hot and cold breakfast. Not even close. A few packaged items and that’s it! Price was a little high considering.
