This is hands down the best veterinary I've ever been to considering I have 4 French bulldogs. My 4 month old frenchie dislocated her bone from her growth plate in her elbow and I called dozens of places and every surgeon refused to do the surgery and instead wanted to amputate. I sent my x rays to Southwest Veterinary Surgical Center and they were able to have their surgeon in Gilbert review them and get me in for an emergency surgery the same day. Everybody was great. We met with Dr. Newman and his technician Diego. Both of them were awesome. We got seen right away. The location is nice and clean in and out. Dr. Newman spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions and going over everything with me. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of your pet needing surgery, I would definitely recommend going to SW Veterinary Surgical Center. They are some of the nicest people I've ever met! You can tell they really care for your pet and giving them the quality they deserve while giving you the assurance you need. Dr Gonzales performed surgery on my dog Tatum. He saved her life! He is an amazing surgeon! I would recommend him to any of my pet friends.

Usually, once a place has me wait 20 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen, I write it off as disrespectful and/or poorly run. That said, after waiting 20 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen, I was really impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a fast-growing tumor on his anal gland that caused significant problems with his calcium levels. While we don't know the results of the biopsy yet, I can honestly say that Dr. Jaffe and his staff were absolutely amazing. We would have had to wait several weeks for another (a teaching hospital) surgeon to see Bear, Southwest was able to get him seen within a week. We took my baby here for a bone chip removal, they come highly recommend. I think they didn't a wonderful job, and I'm so grateful for them for taking care of my pup! Originally from OK so I was hesitant to who would do the surgery, but ALL of the doctors are so great and genuine. They've called daily to check on him! Highly Recommend!
Everyone here is so nice, understanding and super through. I feel blessed to have found a place that cares about my dog, Charlie as much as I do!
They were simply perfect. Not cheap, but the service and facility reflected the quality you get, and surgery is never cheap. The facility itself is perfectly clean and in excellent condition. The staff is super helpful, very friendly, and obviously care about their patients and the "parents." We went in for surgery and had already approved a $3k estimate.
