This place has saved my dog not once but twice! All the doc are amazing, they are sweet and understand! The front office is so helpful and caring! My dog had one back surgery and I love them!! I drive from Scottsdale just because they are the best!!
I brought my little one here after she broke her leg. The staff was so great with her, caring and compassionate. I had to live her over night and the staff let me call 3 times to check on her lol... I'm sure they were like this lady is crazy, but they understood that she is my baby and I was just so worried. They made everything from making an appointment to having the surgery so easy for us!! Thank you so much to the doctors and staff for helping this emotional process much easier!!!
Southwest Veterinary Oncology is a division of Southwest Veterinary Referral Center, which offers a variety of veterinary specialists in one location. The oncologist is actually in North Scottsdale twice weekly, which was an added bonus. We met with Dr. Hillers to discuss Big Sexy's treatment options for basal cell carcinoma around his ear. I would have given this business 5 stars if I was reviewing Dr Gonzales and the techs that worked with my dog Jesse. I had my dog in for a CT scan to determine if surgery was a viable option to remove cancer Unfortunately it was not. I had to pay up front for the estimate of what the scan would cost before they even would start procedure. When I went to pick up my dog they told me i had a $55.00 credit and I told them to keep it on my account because I thought I would use it if surgery was possible. This place was just awful. First time there we waited over two hours because there was some sort of surgery on a duck happening. They didn't bother calling us to let us know there was a situation and to come later. Apparently basic courtesy is beyond them. When we finally got in with the doc, he was nice enough and things went well. Wanted some bloodwork done and some meds given, and to come back in two weeks for a follow-up. Took my Yorkiepoo here for a tore ACL in Dec 2017 seen Michael Jaffe. He did surgery, took her back for follow up visit for same problem & he said give her more time to heal. He told me one thing at the office visit then sent my vet a report saying another thing. I called him & confronted him about this & he tried to lie that he didn't say that. Stay far away from this clinic office staff seem nice but we met with Dr Bone we were referred here from our primary vet for soft tissue sarcoma of toe on our 12 year old golden he was not very compassionate from the start he was seeing dollar bills not the patient wanted to remove 3 toes let him know wasn't interested in anything radical for a dog who is still very active for her age finally took an x-ray found what he called 2 spots on her lungs and some calcium spots which is common in old dogs according to him he really ... read more
