I am a little over 1 month post op. The fajah takes getting use to especially at night because the swelling creeps up on you. Sleeping is difficult in the fajah but necessary. I go once a week for lymphatic massages and can tell the difference in swelling immediately. I know it's a process but can get discouraging when you look I'm the mirror some days but I go back to before pics to get a better perspective.

I focused so much energy on getting thru the surgery that I did not recognize the pain of recovery the first few days. Day 1 I was in pain because pharmacy had not filled all prescriptions by the time I was out of surgery. Day 2 is a fog as it should be on these meds. Day 3 began my drift back into the land of the living. So far so good. I just hate the swelling and the drains are the worst. In 2016 November, I had a Brazilian butt lift at 24… Mel Ortega was my surgeon, and he did a phenomenal job like right now today I don’t even remember what I used to look like I absolutely love what he did to me but I feel in order to completely seal the deal I need to get a mommy makeover which is scheduled with Mel Ortega again in April 2021!! Blood pressure has been taken and I'm hoping they will allow me to continue. It was still a tad bit high but better than yesterday. The young lady that prepared me this morning is awesome. So far so Good. I will Post before and after pics if I get the surgery done today. Send prayers up for blessings down. Also you might want to know that the pre-op takes place at Spectrum but surgery is at a different location..IBody.

I’m a 46 women from Michigan and I getting a BBLand 360 sometime next year maybe February I have to lose about 30 pounds first my question to all is there any risk getting a BBLat my age and has any one out there has had to surgery done by dr. Mel Ortega.

I love Dr. Ortegas bedside manner. He is extremely professional and polite butthe office staff is horrendous! After a breast lift in 2018 my sutures re-opened after 9 days and I'm still waiting for his office staff to get back to me let alone have the dr get back to me (I had to go to the ER in Jersey to get re-sutured because the office never got back to me) , once you're gone out of site out of mind! Tuve mi cirugía el 23 de septiembre del 2020 y ha sido lo mejor que me ha podido pasar , el doctor Ortega ha estado al pendiente de mi recuperación y no todos los médicos son así su equipo de trabajo igual son muy buenos la verdad lo recomiendo 100% gracias doctor por estar siempre para sus pacientes

Dr. Ortega was great, did a fabulous job on my tummy tuck however, lets talk about the staff and spectrum as a whole, very unprofessional, not on the same accord with one another... they treat women like cattle, seemed like a meat market while I was there, women were bloody and in pain slumped over chairs without proper support. I Was scared as fudge! Had it not been for how comfortable he made me feel before surgery I would’ve pulled out!!! Dr.Ortega it’s amazing Dr. and with a lot experience,he explains you what you can expect at your surgery,very honest and takes times with you when you have concerns. I explained to him about my breast and he did honestly explaining to me what expect after surgery. I plan to go back with him to do again my breast but later because now I’m back to him for my BBL. My Mommy Makeover was March 2019 and my BBL will be October 2020. God bless his hands! Thank you Dr.Ortega,see you soon.
