Whew, had 2 drains (the ones from the back) pulled today. The other 2 are still putting out quite a bit. They have to be <25 cc in 48 hours. Mine are doing 100 cc in 48 hours. I took s few pics. My dressings are off. I do not have any open areas. This is something that Dr Ortega is very concerned with, especially in bariatric surgery patients. He is not as aggressive as some other surgeons because he has seen a lot of wound nightmares with people who have list huge quantities of weight and then have skin removed. I appreciat... read more
Dr. Ortega is a great plastic surgeon, his job is extremely neat. He is very knowledgeable and has excellent communication with his patients. I'm very happy with my results. I had my procedure at Spectrum cosmetics in Miami. I have a LOT to say about this place. The day of my surgery I had to wait 6 hrs l'm a young nurse and I understand procedures can be delayed but 6 hours??? I'm one moth out I love my results how ever I had some complications two seromas but every thing was fine Ortega did a wonderful job
I will be seeing Dr Ortega in just two short months. I'm working hard to lose as much weight as possible before the procedure. My weigh in today I was 222.4. Looking to be UNDER 195 before the surgery. I haven't spoken to the doctor, but his coordinators are very responsive. I'm nervous but still excited!!
So I've heard bad things about the office staff but great things about Dr. Ortega. Well I just received my pre-op orders that show the wrong surgery date. Getting a live person on the phone is almost impossible...at least one that can tell me something! Ugh! Not happy right now!
Will be flying to Miami from Sydney to get a bbl. I have found zero experienced doctors in Australia experienced in Brazilian butt lift. I'm 5"2 (162cm) 141 pounds. I've been told to gain about 5-10 extra pounds for better results but I really don't want to since my arms and face will look extremely chubby with any bit lot of weight gain.
So i'm 28 days out from surgery with Dr. Mel Ortega, I'm very excited!! I really hope he can give me the dramatic results i'm looking for. I'm 26 years old, 5' 5", and 165 lbs. My goal was to have my surgery in time. I don't know who to contact at this point. They need to know that this is a business and nobody has time for games. In really trying to find out who the hell is in charge of Spectrum Aesthetics. I'm gonna contact them again today. I'm really steaming right now. Thanks for all responses.
