My initial impression of Speed Pro is that they are not professional.
Business response:
We are overjoyed with the response we are getting from Angie's List members. We are grateful to be chosen time and time again to work in their homes and after read the wonderful feedback. We believe respect should be equal. This time, we did the choosing and decided not to work for this member.
I was sent an e-mail that she could send a guy over to paint it, if I had the paint. The estimate was for $50. <br /> I was thinking someone would at least call me and find out what I wanted, the options, the paint, how it would <br /> be painted, if the door would have to be primed first, if I wanted it spray painted, etc. Since it was a small job, they didn't want to be bothered with spending any time doing this job.
Business response:
We did not work for this person because he decided to choose another contractor. I offered him the same prelimanary service I offer everyone else. I'm not sure why he felt the need to tarnish our reputation.
Initially they were good. I believe that they were in a hurry and the painting started to get messy. The paint got on the floor and they also broke a door off of the entertainment center. They chewed up the kitchen floor. They were sloppy. They did not do the molding inthe laundry room.
Business response:
I usually don’t respond to the reports we get on Angie’s List. I value the feedback and pass our customers suggestions on to my crew. But this one has me very confused. What was reported does not coincide with what she wrote to me (in a text message): “it is fabulous thank u no need for walk through i can mail check right now on the way to my dep or leave it on the kitchen counter and u can pick it up tomorrow when convenient for you thanks again i will now give your number to several attorneys at the office” I had no idea s... read more
<br /> <br /> <br />In the 3 years that have followed we have found many areas where the painted areas were not as good as we originally thought. Shortcuts were taken and we have had to rectify this with other contractors.
