My friends mom was recently admitted here, and I was feeling sorry for her just cause of what you hear about some other facility in the news. Me and my friend went to go visit her to go say hi and keep her company for a bit. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Front desk and staff was very friendly. I found the staff to be very attentive. If you require the care of a rehab facility, I highly recommend this place. If I find myself requiring the use of St Francis, I would without hesitation return.
This facility has been given 5 stars for several years in a row by Medicare. Mom has been well taken care of. The food has something to be desired though. The veggies are always over cooked. The nurses do care but with COVID, everyone is stretched thin. Clothing did not go missing until taken by Teresa K on 1/13, leaving mom with nearly nothing to wear. Clothing was not returned until report was filed with APS.
My aunt was admitted to this facility and although it's not as big as most places the hospital mentioned to us, it was cozy and well kept. The staff was great and they treated her very well, specially during a pandemic. Proper safety protocols were in place to prevent Covid infection as well.
The facility is top notch, clean and the staff is very competent, courteous and professional!!!! Small facility and the nursing & physical therapy staff could not have been more conscientious in their care. Our Mom has made wonderful progress in the few weeks she has been in their care - from not being able to walk or dress herself - to walking short distances, and now needs little assistance to do everyday things we take for granted. May 8,2021-My experience this past week was far better than the week ending May 1,2021. SHOUTOUT to the clinical liaison team for going out of their way to address any feedback we have in regards to our mom's condition who has a very high risk of falling(her dimentia only makes it worse). The staff are better coordinated and left nothing to chance by adding the good old bell to supplement a call Light and pressure type alarm to ensure my mom doesn't walk to the restroom by herself. Awesome care!!! The staff is very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They try their best to make sure the needs of our loved ones are met. This place was highly recommended.
The management staff are very accommodating and flexible, especially coming from out of state, when we were visiting my Mom and Auntie. Leo, from admission, made the transition very smooth including the transportation when we transferred my Mom from SF nursing home to be with her sister at St. Francis. Carla, the DON, responded quickly when requested for Mom and Aunt to be in the same room. Jinal, the rehab director, keeps me updated about my Mom's progress on a regular basis.
