Automatic 18% gratuity for shoddy service! I have frequented the Cypress, TX location for seven years. I will not be returning. Gratuity is earned based upon the level of service. Forcing 18% when the waitress shows up once during a two hour movie is insulting. Movie theaters are already struggling to bring in customers. Asinine policies like this will be the final nail in the coffin. 😡

Absolutely disgusting. I have never been to a Star location like this. This should be turned into a dollar cinema. Bathrooms smell like latrines. Theaters were definitely not cleaned properly. I will definitely never be back to this location. Star usually has top notch service and cleanliness.
We never received our food 10 min into the movie. We literally had to go out to the servers and check on it for them to finally deliver to our seats. The food was cold when we sent it back they double charged the food and the manager Tevin refused to fix the mistake. I recommend Studio Movie Grill over this establishment any day. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
COVID SCARE- After getting our tickets, we were stopped at the theatre door by a attendant that told us the theatre was being cleaned. (6 minutes prior to start time) After about 2-3 minutes, another attendant told us to go in because she cleaned the theatre but forgot to change the status. We go in and the original attendant is taking orders from the 2 other parties ALREADY SITTING IN THEATRE. She never came out to get us, then asked which seat we were in and told us it was clean. The food wasn't as good before the pandemic. and why did they accept money. but everything else was ok

I would give no stars if that were an option. Their food serving need serious attention. Ruined my entire movie. Ordered food and didnt even get our drinks till we were finished and then they were wrong and had to go get them myself. Sorry to say but I won't be returning to this theatre. I'd rather go to the concession stand and get my own snacks and drinks. And their popcorn is the kind that has been popped and put into bags and served later, it's not hot and fresh.

RecommendedThe service was ok but I asked for more ice for my tea and received response they didn’t know if they could do that. Never came back.
This place is nice, and the food was good, kinda pricey but i guess it’s worth what you get. The music playing throughout was very loud so we were having to scream over it to talk to one another before we went into the theater. The chairs were fine but i did think they would be bigger than they were. Overall we had a good experience, i don’t think i would bring my 5 year old back though. More of a place for adults.
