Just tried to drop my 14 and 15yr old off to see the new Avengers and they turned them away saying they had to be accompanied by an adult even though the movie is PG-13... so no kids are allowed to see movies there w/out an adult present??? Total BS!! They will be loosing a lot of business this summer!
The chairs were great and I liked the menu. I had a big problem with the sound. The previews were so loud that it was literally painful to the ears. The manager responded that that is how previews are and would check it. The volume ended up reasonable for the film. At times I could here a little bit from the theatre next door. The worst part was the rattling air-conditioning. It was so loud and distracting. I finally summoned the waitress to let the manager know and it stopped. They must have turned the AC off. Beautiful place...had been wanting to visit..went Saturday night for the first time...I love movies and truly enjoying going with family. SERVICE was slow and food was not hot...we ordered dessert to which was the best for all of us...popcorn came before nachos and drinks took forever...once all food had arrived I asked for hot sauce and it felt i was forgotten the bottle of sauce came like what felt an hour later...just disappointed and truly displeased with service.
Really nice theater, but the service could be better. Took almost 20 minutes to get popcorn and drinks. Better service at Studio Movie Grill. Will go there instead.
Seats are comfortable. No refills on the drinks is NO good for this business. We ate and the food is average. Pop corn is small and NO refills. I will not go again. Food is expensive. Movie studio grill is better and cheaper on tuesdays.
Great service, Food: not great, theater not sound proof, chairs more comfortable at Cinemark. Probably won’t go back
We went to the Star Cinema on Christmas day for the first time. It’s the worst theatre I’ve ever been in. First of all there’s inadequate handicap parking. Then I had purchased seats on the handicap row as I must use a wheelchair. The majority of the seats on that row were occupied by able bodied people that were not accompanying disabled people. My family had to sit separate from me. If you are watching the movie from a wheelchair on the handicap row you have to bend your head back so far just to see the screen. Apparently ... read more
