Classes tend to be a little boring but they do help you learn a lot! Employees here are very nice and helpful. Cafeteria food is not very good. Suggest you bring money and other from home but no refrigerator.
Amazing community, counselor and a beautiful campus in the hill country. I’ve been to several treatment centers and this center has given me the most humbling, and amazing experience.
Starlite Treatment Center is an amazing facility, the staff there is great and keeps you get down to root issues while allowing you to enjoy your experience at the same time.
Starlite has helped me find my inner strengths, and made me a stronger me.
The people and counseling staff brought life back into my soul and taught me that although this disease is grave, I can be of service by helping others sober everywhere I go with the tools given to me at Starlite.
I gratefully and gladly attend 6 to 8 AA Meetings per week. I am of service to those who suffer and I work with other alcoholics. I am living in Des Moines now and I am further blessed to be near one of my daughters and to have a relationship with her that I dared not dream possible and I know could not be if I were not sober. She and her husband will have their first child (my first grandchild) in October.
Starlite was willing to do anything possible to help me get to a point in my life to want to start living sober and have been since!
I am forever grateful to each and every person at Starlight. Each and every person. I remember every single one of you and I could detail specifics for each and every individual staff member and how their care and actions touched me and helped me in my recovery.
Every time I see a square Frisbee, I think of Star and how her presence there was so healing to so many.
