About the Company Family Owned and Operated How It All Began... Steve's Flowers and Gifts was founded in 1973 by Steve and Linda Huth. As Steve was attending college, he worked for a local flower shop, delivering, doing odd jobs, and eventually designing. Steve had dreams of opening his own floral facility on the southside of Indianapolis, and when opportunity came, he went to work to make it happen. I was calling from the Carolinas and to order and deliver a sympathy arrangement for my daughter-in-law 's mother who had passed. I cannot tell you that Steve's Flowers and Gifts is the most pleasant and considerate business with which I interacted . I called Steve’s Flowers from Alabama just as they were closing! The wonderful reviews were right ! They stayed on the line with me until I was thoroughly satisfied with my order.
