Horrible Service We had a reservation for 7:45. We were seated by 7:50 and did not receive our food until 9:10. Unfortunately, we had other plans that evening so we had to pay our check and ask for to-go boxes BEFORE our food came to our table.
The food was really disappointing. The server did fine. We would not eat here again.
The chef seemed to have problems with cooking any meats. My girlfriend's steak went back (undercooked) three times and still wasn't close to right. My steak was overcooked. I appreciate the fact that her meal was comped but disappointed that it appears the restaurant is declining. The menu has changed and the portions are smaller. My crab cakes were the diameter of quarters.
The food was not very good. The veggies were not cooked and not a seasoned. I won't go back again.
Good food, good service, but... I like Stone Creek, and have eaten there many times. The service and food are always very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. On this occasion we were entertaining a visiting guest from overseas and it seemed as if the experience would be the same. NOT a fan at all of the new menu. We have been coming to Stone Creek for years because it is within walking distance of our place. We got a preview of the new menu a couple of weeks ago, but got the full new menu at this night of dining. Honestly, we are not a fan and either where friends that I ran into on my way back from the ladies room.
