We always enjoy going to Stone Creek but our visit this time was very disappointing. It took an hour to get our food. We were then offered a free dessert. After waiting for about 15 minutes we left our table and went to hostess table to pay our bill. They did comp our meal which was very nice--just disappointed how long we waited for our food.

Restaurant is better than this experience We only go to Stone Creek for special occasions as it is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. I surprised her with reservations for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. We have been before and we will go again. However, this experience was not their best. Their special of the night was the prime rib, which I ordered medium rare. My wife ordered the horseradish dijon crusted sirloin medium well. I honestly do not feel that Stone Creek has been the same since the change in chefs a couple of years ago. We used to always come in all the time for the blackened mahi mahi. Although you still have it on the menu, it is not nearly as good as it used to be. We were at Stone Creek over the holidays and had a very average meal. We decided to give it another try last Friday night, but were extremely disappointed. Repeat guest who was disappointed We have been to Stone Creek many times. This time was very disappointing. The a/c was not working well at all. When I asked why it was so hot, the server indicated that they have been having a known problem for a couple weeks. I was sweating by the end of the meal. Needless to say I wasn't happy about spending $100 plus for two people to sweat while we ate.

small portion My husband ordered the chicken entree and it was a very small piece of chicken!!! If the chicken pieces are that tiny, two should be part of the entree. I know my husband will have to consider what to order in the future (he doesn't eat red meat or fish that isn't wild fish).... On a positive note, our server Kelsey is always fantastic!!!!!

The restaurant is fine BUT It is too bad that the parking for this restaurant is not convenient. Even parking under the building requires going outside and around the corner. It is difficult for those who have never been there to find the parking. If the underground parking isn't available the lot across the street is a mess. I went there on a rainy day. I did park underground but still had to walk in the rain to get into the restaurant. They need some kind of sign to show people where to go.

I had ordered a 12 oz. steak and was not very impressed as it was pretty much full of gristle. It was prepared just as ordered and the rest of the meal, appetizers and all were just fine.

Okay not great everything from the start was fair. Although I had a reservation , I was not offered my table and had to ask if I could be seated. They sat me in the general bar area which is typically not used for reservations. I asked for a booth and although most were empty were provided the one closest to the kitchen which had a ceiling blower directly above my head.
