We like Stone Creek and have We like Stone Creek and have dined there often. Tonight wasn't one of their better in terms of service. We waited longer than we ever have to be served and their explanation was lame - "a large party's food order went in just ahead of ours".
The food is good, the design The food is good, the design nice, but the noise level is way too high. For anyone over 50 who likes nice dinner conversation, it is no the right environment.
I would not recommend this I would not recommend this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The service was poor and after going through two waitresses, we were finally served our food after a lengthy wait. We sat for 20 minutes before menus were brought or water was served even though we asked to be waited on. We asked 3 bus boys to please get our waitress during the course of the meal. Mixed Bag Ate there last evening with friends for the first time. Mixed bag overall--decor is very nice, service was horrible, food was good, although 2 people in the group were not impressed with the pasta dishes at all. I didn't try them, but they didn't look that appealing. $4 for a cup of french onion soup, which was about the size of a rammiken. Everything is A La Carte, nice wine list. Not sure if I would go back or not.

bad food Generally good food and service but not this time. Ordered a salad and it was small and dry.
Won't be back! We waited over 30 minutes before the server took our order. Fish was overcooked. Toss salad tasted like fish.
Bad Service Experience The food was good and I would recommend Stone Creek for that, IF management does a better job with training (or overseeing) the waiters. Our waiter was unfriendly and this ruined the experience. The decor was nice but the noise level was bad.
We always go to Stone Creek We always go to Stone Creek for special occasions. The food is always excellent, although this trip, a filet ordered "medium rare" was "rare". The problem was that our party of 6 was seated in the area between the front room and bar and the back area. It's a narrow section because the kitchen is next to it.
