Went to Stone Creek for a Birthday meal with two friends. Service was good and friendly. French onion soup appetizer was very salty none of us finished it. I had a salad which was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. My friends both had Mahi Mahi and it was very dry and not flavorful. I had beef medallions which were bland. Waitress kept dragging chairs by our table for a large party which was annoying. Was not worth the 20 to 25 dollar an entree price.
Potatoes were raw and one pork chop was dry
Stone Creek was just OK. The spinach and artichoke app was great other than that everything was a bit bland I won't be running back anytime soon.
The round table by the bar was too cold and loud
The person at the front desk did not acknowlege my reservation. Although they had multiple tables open they delayed my seating, even though two other persons in my party had already been seated!!!
I had never dined here before but was excited to try a new restaurant for our anniversary. The location is great, the menu sounded delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. However, the mixed drinks were way too strong so there was a big imbalance of flavors. The filet mingon was slightly tough but had decent flavor. The chicken parmesean was terrible. The French Onion soup was terrible! Stone Creek had one the best French Onion soups until recently. Please go back to the old way!
We went to dinner on Friday night around 8:00pm. We've been many times and its one of our favorite local places to eat. However, on this Friday night the bar crowd was SO loud you had to practically yell to talk across our table. The noise & crowd from the bar spilled out into the restaurant and really ruined the atmosphere. If you are going for a romantic dinner, ask to be seat as far away from the bar as possible!
We love Stonecreek, but did not enjoy the Easter buffet. The food was mediocre with the exception of a few items, and several of the hot dishes were lukewarm. The atmosphere was hectic, and the servers--although ours was certainly giving it her all--seemed overtaxed. Once when I stood, I accidentally stepped in the path of a worker carrying a tray, and she all but snarled at me. My family has no desire to repeat the experience.
