Great for lunch and dinner. Skip the Mother's Day Brunch. Had 12:45 reservation. Was seated at 1:00. Matre' D wasn't very friendly. Sat in booth and the seat was very wet. Didn't feel good since I was wearing a skirt. Buffet selections were very limited. Salad was wilted. Fruit was only some cut up melon. Green beans were cold. Carrot cake was dry. Bread pudding and chocolate brownie was excellent. Prime rib was overcooked. Had to flag another server down for coffee. We were seated in a dark section with no windows.
Reserved a table for the Easter Buffet. Usually Stone Creek delivers on service and food but clearly not an establishment that can handle a buffet. Empty chafing dishes, the morsels that were available were cold and the ham was burnt (black on the bottom) and the beef roast would have been more suitable as tires on my car. Stone Creek should stick with what it does best, made to order entrees and table service. This completely ruined my Easter gathering with my family. Golden Corral would have been a better option.
My husband's Filet was to die for, but the Chicken dish I ordered was dry and tasteless. It was not even from the "healthier" portion of the menu. I would recommend the restaurant but I would advise you steer clear of the chicken and risotto dish.
Food is good but overpriced I would rather pay a bit more and go to carlo and johnnys. More than likely we will not go back
Our waitress really accomodated last minute changes (too many showed up) and was gracious all the way through. We felt VERY well cared for.
Overall the food was great, the service was good and the night was delightful. However, the day afterward, we found that the we were charged incorrectly on our credit card, as the person who totaled and deducted our gift certificate, overcharged us. Eventually the amount was corrected about 4 days afterwards and a couple of phone calls.
Service was very good & decor was nice. The food was not so good (at least what we ordered). When they brought our food out, the plate was extremely hot... probably too hot & should have let it cool in the back first. We had the tuna & tilapia. The tilapia needed some more spice or kick... not very flavorful. The tuna like the tilapia lacked in flavor.
I ordered the honey walnut chicken for dinner and I did not like it at all. I asked for the tarragon mustard dressing on the side and it came on the spinach. The waitress took it back and then got me my correct dish. She did not bring out the sweet potato fries with the meal because they were not done yet. The chicken was dry and there was barely any cheese and walnuts stuffed inside. The sweet potato fries were bland and had no taste what so ever. I will not be coming back here.
The first time my husband and I went here our experience was almost magical! BUT the second time we went we were extremely disappointed. Our service was very poor and our food was awful! We will never go back again. We spent $136.oo for the two of us and we could have gotten a better meal at a fast food place for a lot less.
