I’d like to start by saying that we love Stone Creek and will be back. This was the first time we’ve been let down, but we’ve had many great experiences there. We were thrilled to see a crowded restaurant on a weekend and know that many others love Stone Creek as well. I enjoyed a great meal there in January with a group of colleagues which prompted me to choose Stone Creek again for my birthday dinner last weekend. Valentine’s Day Dinner…the ambiance was great but the meal was so so. I was really looking forward to that chicken parmesan. The chicken was good, but the noodles were a replica of chef boyardee. :-(

Good, although we had to wait to be seated while the hostess’ young assistant was engaging in a long embrace (very long) with another employee in the entrance to the kitchen clearly within sight of us. Very unprofessional. Then, before we finished eating, sweepers and vacuum cleaners appeared and noisy cleanup began. In sum, the meal was great, our server was very good, but the ambiance at the beginning and ending was disappointing.

The food was fine. The ambiance is usually quiet and nice.. that is one of the reasons we go there. Our biggest issue was a very pushy waiter. He was constantly pushing us to order and then to leave. It was an early Tuesday evening. There was no one waiting and empty tables available. It is not an inexpensive place to eat, feeling rushed is not relaxing. We will choose a different place next time.

Disappointed. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Waitress was poor, steaks had to be sent back, sides were cold. If this had been our first time there, we would NOT be returning.
