Great food as normal but very poor service this visit
Very noisy business group at round table next to us.
My husband and I have always loved Stone Creek - especially the Zionsville location - but we both feel like the quality of food has gone down. I really hope this can get corrected because I'd hate to make it off our list of restaurants to frequent.
Food is great as usual but bar area for some weird reason has lights blaring on- the bar should be dim Or at least not bright with lights in high- very strange as we’ve fined here 20 Times over the years- this must be a new thing
After we had paid our bill with cash including a 20% tip and left the restaurant while still in the public parking lot we hear someone yelling at us "Hey what about this", holding up what the restaurant bill comes in, "are you going to pay this?" We explained that another employee had given us the bill (I think it was one of the managers) and that we had already paid the bill and left a tip. We usually really enjoy Stone Creek in Zionsville, but our meal on 3/19/18 for 7 people left little to be desired. All of food came out very dry, including the salmon, fried shrimp and chicken. Server was not attentive and we finally had to ask for him to come from the kitchen to tell him our food was not good 10 minutes after him serving it to us. Celebrating my daughters medical school match....got the appetizer after our meals, paid for 2 soups and only ordered one. My daughter is pretty sure she got food poisoning from the salmon. She was sick for about 12 hours after. The appetizer was free...appreciate that. Don’t think we will come back for awhile.
Made a reservation on open table for a table in the bar. When I arrived I was told that there wasn't a table available. I was seated in the dining room area and was told by the individual that sat me that he was going to check my reservation and get back with me........................well, I'm still waiting!!!! He never came back. Behavior like this makes me not want to return.
