RecommendedI think the Stoney Brook staff is the best. But more importantly that's what my dogs think also. Their comfort and care is the most important to me.
We LOVE Stoney Brook! Staff are always friendly and helpful (even when you can hear the phones ringing in the background). The Doc’s and tech’s are great with my animals, always thinking of how the animal likes to be approached.
My sister and I co-own a GSP who was a return to breeder. She came with extreme anxiety when it came to going to the vets office. She won’t let you trim her nails either. Last month she went for her first visit and then again today for booster shots. The staff was amazing! First time she was not extremely stressed out. Even took treats from the tech and vet which she never did with her former vets office. They are compassionate and truly a great match for her! First visit with my 2 dogs was great, they were incredibly welcoming! I loved that the doctor and tech got right on the floor with the dogs and made them comfortable before their exams. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. They never seemed annoyed and I never felt rushed. This is especially appreciated right now when I know they are overworked and understaffed during COVID.
They were excellent with my dog that suffers from extreme stress, fear, and anxiety at vet appointments. My dog had the best experience she's ever had at a vets office after only one visit.

Our family and dogs have had amazing care at Stoney Brook Vets. We aways go here. Odie recently had his hair cut again and again here and he is always very handsome afterwards, but, most importantly, he is never traumatized by anything at Stoney Brook Vets. He comes home happy as hell!
Love that the facility in so close to home. It is clean and inviting and the staff is top notch. Thank you all for your caring way that you all treated Honey with her multiple visits. I would give a resounding recommendation to anyone that needs to take their pet to them for care.
Everyone at Stoney Brook is so caring and professional. About 2 years ago, our Tootsie was very sick for a couple of days. I called and they took her in right away. After some tests, an IV, and some medications she was back to her sweet energetic self. She had her yearly physical yesterday and is in great shape.😊
