Attempted to purchase a 83 C10 but as soon I requested to see the truck , they suddenly had a drivers license on the truck. Honestly? Typical used cars sales tactic. You lost a future customer. I'd give you a zero but that's not an option
At the root of it all, they're still salesmen and care about nothing but the bottom dollar. While I was unable to drive after surgery, I called about a car, was told it ran good, A/C just "needed service" to blow cold, and was reassured it checked all the boxes I wanted in a classic. 1. Very disappointed in the overall experience. it took better than a month for me to receive the title for the vehicle. the reason was the vehicle had a lien. This was not disclosed to me until after the purchase. I would have never bought it had I known that. The vehicle had many issues that I fell should have been disclosed to me for the price they were asking. the issues should have been obvious to anyone selling classic vehicles. Beware! NEVER use their recommendations for a third party inspection. We used one they suggested and got a terrible inspection. The report couldn’t be more slanted if it was written by the owner or Streetside personnel. Missed completely obvious flaws and seriously downplayed the ones they did report. If the inspector gets a significant portion of their income from S.C. They can hardly be impartial. The facility is very nice and the people are competent. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! As far as inventory, they have an impressive assortment of vehicles. Most of their positive reviews pertain to just that. If you’re a car enthusiast, this place is ever so cool to just walk around to see the vast variety of vehicles available. After explaining to the team in Charlotte about my recent Cancer diagnosis and inability to travel to view the vehicle in person, it was grossly misrepresented. Not casual oversights, but blatant lies. I told them the car could NOT be loaded with rust or body filler, and could need no more than a basic tune up- and after spending over $30,000 and getting the vehicle home, and to a reputable mechanic, it is likely a complete loss. The quality of the vehicle I purchased was less than expected even though I purchased it sight unseen I thought after talking to the salesman I would be buying a quality vehicle but not the case. I was told everything was in good working order and it was a nice driver. But upon delivery I find all tires were so old that the rubber was hard and cracking and the radiator was full of water that looked like someone filled it out of a muddy river and there is sign’s of a blown head gasket among other problems I did not expect. Sold me a lemon. Shame on me for not having it inspected. But NOTHING worked on it, not even the parking brake, the electrical, the carb, nothing. I've spent almost $20k just getting it working.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH PAM. Says she has been in the business for years. comes off very egotistic and rude. i would not recommend her to ANYONE. Does not have any customer service skills. She is most definitely the person to avoid in a dealership, no reason to be nice to some people and rude to others. Firm believer in equality
