We apologize for any problems or inconveniences you may have incurred due to the purchase of the vehicle. Due to limited information in the review, we were not able to contact you. We did our best, asking you to reach out to us through the review site but have not received a response. At this time we feel we have done the best we could to rectify any sort of disappointment the customer has. We wish the customer the best of luck with their vehicle. Team Streetside Classics
"Awful customer service" Robin is overrated. After they got my money, they didn't care. Customer service was awful. First car I bought didn't make it 20 miles home. It broke down. I gave them a second chance. It was another horrible experience. Beware of this dealership. As my dad always said"people sell cars for a reason".. Street Side classic cars have horrible customer relations after the purchase. And Robin Lane is the worst..

Norder, I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience with us. However, not one person in this showroom ever stops caring about our buyers or consignors. From the moment we meet, our buyers and consignors are part of the Streetside Classics family forever. We understand that your first experience was unique and we made things right when we realized what was wrong, which is why I believe you came back to see us again. We will always try to make things right. Your second experience required additional time and patience du... read more
"Lies I was told to get a sale by 3 salespersons at ssc" I’m writing again just to warn anybody going through these people. They seem professional and honest but the salespeople at streetside classics will tell you whatever they can to sell you a car. They lied to me about very specific and important components of the vehicle I bought that I was completely overcharged and strait swindled by these people. Don’t go there without a full mechanic and tools to check on what you’re. buying and what they’re telling you you’re buyin... read more
"Never buy a vehicle from them "sight unseen”" I recently purchased a 1977 Blazer from them. It looked great, Ran terrible but fresh gas solved the problem. The next day after delivery I discovered a bad oil leak coming from the transmission and the transfer case is not shifting correctly. The only way the truck drives is in 4xHigh, all other gears do not work. Streetside made it clear that this was a "as is" "sight unseen purchase" I agreed to the risk with the assurance that "everything worked" at the time of purchase. Unf... read more

We apologize for any issues this buyer is having, but we try to have a transparent conversation with our buyers about the condition and quality of the vehicles we sell on consignment. We do not have a mechanic on staff, and are open to in person, as well as third party inspections. As for this vehicle, the drivetrain all appeared to work properly while it was in our showroom. 40+ year old vehicles can have issues at any time, and we do sell vehicles as is, without a warranty. Again, we are sorry this buyer is dealing with is... read more
"Horrible" Terrible. I think I was lied to since day one. Purchased a Land Cruiser that was told it was in top notch ready to go rebuilt engine and everything. I even when with a pre inspection service company they recommended and had a bad experience with them as well. They are all connected. Truck has been in and out the shop since I bought it back in June 18 and just got it out Oct 18 last week for more problems. Every time I drive it there is always a problem. One of the many scary things is that my brake booster went ou... read more

Dear Nicolas, It’s unfortunate to hear you did not enjoy your experience with Streetside Classics. We appreciate any and all feedback, and have reviewed your concerns. I’d like to clarify a few facts. We are aware that you drove your Land Cruiser for an extended distance prior to bringing these issues to our attention, therefore it is difficult to determine the origin of the issues. We make sure our descriptions are detailed, accurate and we educate customers as much as possible before accepting a consignment or finalizing a... read more
"Deceptive Business Practices" I recently purchased a 1967 Chevelle from these guys. I was purchasing from out of state so i spoke with a salesman at length about the car. He assured me the car was straight and had absolutely no rust, which he said would have been noticed on the call out list if it had been present. I was financing the car and my lender required an appraisal so the salesman recommended one that they frequently utilize. Not surprisingly, the appraisal came back favorably and I was able to get financing from m... read more

Streetside Classics apologizes that this customer is not happy with their purchase from us. We do our best to describe the cars as accurately as possible and are always open to vehicle inspections. Prior to the purchase of the vehicle, the customer had a third party inspection/appraisal done on the vehicle. The customer received the appraisal and condition report showing the car appraised for $5,000 more than the agreed upon purchase price. The customer then flew in, drove and inspected the car in-person. Satisfied with the ... read more
"Misled" Worked with Chris on my purchase . He was professional enough with the sales end of the purchase . It was fast and efficient this was good because I am a super busy person and was looking for something specific. I was not able to be there to inspect so my sale is solely based on the sales mans statements and the video. Chris conversed with me said he believed the truck was well taken care . Cosmetically this is true , mechanically not so . Chris stated in his last email to me this is a strong truck and the AC is col... read more

Sir, I am very sorry to hear you are experiencing these problems with your newly purchased truck. As you and I discussed, you found some suspension (and related) items that show normal wear, indicative of a vehicle that is 34 years old. They are relatively inexpensive and we are happy to assist you with replacing, as I mentioned on the phone. You also mentioned the engine smoking, and oil leaking from the vehicle. While it was in our possession, the area beneath it and in the photos, the underside was dry, so I requested mor... read more
"SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST AND COUNT ON " I called and spoke with Rocky, ask him is he could be honest and look at a car as if he were purchasing it. He answered, that is what I do and the ONLY WAY I handle it with anyone. He looked at the vehicle I was interested in with me on the phone and answered a lot of questions I had based on the Photos I view on your web site, then went above and beyond anyone else and looked the car over with an eagle eye, taking photos of things I had questioned. I live in N C and am 76, long trip for... read more

Poor Customer Service I drove over 12 hours to pick up a vehicle for a buyer and was appalled at their lack of professionalism. The car was not ready, was parked behind at least 40 other cars, the battery was dead, no gas in the car. When I spoke to the general manager, Richard, he was very confrontational and rude. Two hours later, I finally am loaded and ready for another 12 hour drive back to the owner. Never did I receive a explanation nor apology for the car not being ready for pick up.
Business response:
Although we at Streetside are certainly concerned that this transporter felt strongly enough to leave a negative review about our company, the account of the events that transpired, are not correct. The moment the unannounced transporter walked in our doors at 9 am on Tuesday morning, our sales associate that sold the vehicle to the transporters colleague quickly explained that the car was not ready for shipment. The buyer had NOT informed any of our staff of the transporter’s pending arrival as the doors opened on the openi... read more
