"Misrepresentation of vehicle purchased" I have read reviews of Streetside classic cars in Charlotte. I purchased a vehicle from them after exhaustive phone calls with two different sales associates and office employees. I talked to them for nearly two weeks about the vehicle. They are smooth in their approach and know how to spin the actual condition of the vehicle. The vehicle price was finally agreed upon and shipped to my home. "Buyer Beware: Should know better and not trust the used..." Buyer Beware: Should know better and not trust the used car salesman, but we took his word that the car was road ready. We are kicking ourselves, but for others out there...please don't make the same mistake. See description below... Taken to two reputable mechanics. Same story at both. Talking to Brad we let him know that we were out of town truck drivers and the only days we could come in was Saturday. I rate Streetside Classics because of the poor condition of the vehicle sold to me. It is a 1966 Fairlane GT. The car arrived and within 50 miles of driving I had power steering fluid all over my garage, requiring replacement of the power steering system - pumps hoses etc, The stteering was loose and dangereous and I had to replace most of the front suspension - including ball joints, tie rods, shocks. "No vehicle should be sent to the purchaser without ALL..." No vehicle should be sent to the purchaser without ALL necessary paperwork. In addition, any condition that will render the vehicle unable to pass a motor vehicle inspection must be disclosed before the deal is closed.
