Paid 65k for a car. waited 2+ weeks to get the title, found out the seller wasn't who the salesman told me it was. 2 weeks later the engine developed a knocking noise. Engine was disassembled and found all the cam bearings were installed improperly blocking about 75% of oil flow to the cam. Cyl 8 rod bearing also failed. Oil filter was full of metal. This was supposed to be a rebuild with 1500 mi. I asked them to help me out on $3000 of the $9500 repair since I didnt even have the car a month. The declined and accused me of ... read more

My husband had a tough time receiving our title on our 70 C10. It was an extremely stressful experience!

I do not like the way this company does business. In the future I will not do business with Streetside Classics again.

Bought a 1971 restored c10 from this company for about 60k and come to find out the paint was bad on the whole truck u can chip away the paint with your finger nail… called them and told them about the problem and was told not there problem pretty much sold as is… but when spending that kind of money u would think the truck would be in great shape… so now I’m stuck paying 40k for new paint…. Buyers please beware of what you buy from this place

Business response:

Since you also posted a review on Google, we have modified and updated our response from there. We are sorry you are continuing to have issues with the truck. As you initially saw when you came to inspect the truck in person, we all thought the paint was in excellent condition. Otherwise, you or anyone else who inspected the vehicle in person would have disagreed with the asking price based on paint quality and condition. As previously mentioned, we do not build or perform any bodywork on these vehicles, and we couldn’t have... read more

Buyer beware as Derrick do not give full disclosure of the condition of the vehicle.

Business response:

We are sorry you are dissatisfied with your purchase. We attempted to contact you to discuss your situation but have been unable to connect. While these are as-is, no-warranty purchases, we are happy to see if we can do anything to assist you. Incidentally, we suggested, and per your mechanic, he also suggested that you have an inspection done on the vehicle since we openly admit we can't know everything about every vehicle we sell since we do not build them nor put them through a grueling screening process before they are f... read more

At the root of it all, they're still salesmen and care about nothing but the bottom dollar. While I was unable to drive after surgery, I called about a car, was told it ran good, A/C just "needed service" to blow cold, and was reassured it checked all the boxes I wanted in a classic. 1. Looks good from 20 feet away, didn't care much about being a "pure" car. 2. Had to be road-ready to drive with nothing more than minor tune-up items. Fluids, belts, hoses.) 3. Not full of body filler or rust. Well, I purchased the car over th... read more

No call or contact back Second contact no call back but a number to call no answer left message with number and name. Then received a notice the 73 Mgb Gt was sold. Is the 70 Mgb Gt still for sale ???

Business response:

We are sorry we had trouble connecting. The initial contact requests by this customer were received when we were closed over our weekend. Once we resumed business, we contacted the customer that same day by email and the following day by email and phone. We do not want our customers to feel harassed, so we wanted to wait a few days to give them a chance to respond before reaching out again. Understandably, some customers' schedules do not allow them to respond immediately, and we try to consider that. Once we saw this review... read more
