Outstanding shop! Matt helped me out big time when I got into an accident a few months ago, they replaced a strut, control arm, and patched together my bumper. Another shop had told me that I needed new engine mounts so I asked them to replace these too, but Allied Gardens found that I just had a few bolts loose. Had a lot of bad experiences with the Kia dealership I typically go to. After spending hundreds of dollars just on "diagnostics"(none of which ended up being the problem) I decided to try out Allied Gardens Automotive and I wish I came here with all my previous vehicles. This shop has a good work ethic. They were punctual, attentiveness, and the willingness to tackle all aspects of the job to achieve optimal results. The shop kept me informed of every thing they were doing. We greatly appreciate the hard work and attention to do a good job.
Absolutely amazing service. Matt is knowledgeable, doesn't upsell, and most importantly is completely honest. I am on a tight budget so I'm already apprehensive about taking my car in but Matt has always been cool about letting me know exactly what needs to be done to keep my car running and what I can wait on. He's also willing to explain just about any problem and show you why certain work needs to be done which I find to be super comforting as someone who knows next to nothing about cars. Brought my van here about a month ago. Paid 1300 for radiator and 100 for the inspection. Not sure if it's because I am a young student or because car is not in great condition, but I was told nothing about what was wrong with my car and they showed/explained me nothing about what they did/changed. I was referred here by a friend of the owners and was so happy with how my experience went. I had a broken hose in my cooling system and Matt and his team got right on it. I was scrambling to not miss a ton of work and the guys had the parts and repairs knocked out within a few hours same day. I used to come here with my '94 Mitsubishi vr4 when I lived in Mission Gorge and Matt and his team always did excellent work and treated me like family. The time came to sell my aging car, so my wife and I saddled up with new vehicles and as I do my own basics (oil/rotate tires, etc) did not have a need for a regular mechanic yet.
