Exploitative of course. I went in alone for an oil change and left with one less headlight and worries about a bad battery that is in fact at 100% after having it tested. The fact that they were going to charge me $300 to fix a problem that they created before I could even settle in to grab a bite to eat. How do companies choose which clients are worthy of screwing over? Is it race, car, height, weight?? I'm honestly curious

This shop quoted me $4,500 to replace my entire front axle housing for an issue that someone else identified and fixed in two minutes with a knife. I would not trust any diagnosis from this shop without getting a second opinion. Earlier this year, I brought my truck in for an oil change. I gave them all the vehicle details over the phone and was quoted one price, but when I arrived, they increased it on the spot for some bs reason. I did not plan to ever return. This week, I noticed a whining noise and slight vibration com... read more

Hi Ryan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your kind words about our staff, and we're sorry your experience left you feeling disappointed. We understand how frustrating it is when the final price differs from the quote you were given beforehand, even if there's a legitimate reason for the difference. We should always communicate any changes clearly before the work begins so our customers know exactly what to expect. At Stress-Free Auto Care, earning our customers' trust is one of our high... read more

No option for negative star review. I lost my truck keys and had two new ones programmed. I didn't know the old ones wouldn't work, so when I found my old set and tried to use them my truck didn't start and so I got it towed to the shop. They told me it was my fuel pump and quoted me around $1,900.00. They reprogrammed my key without telling me and that's how I was able to drive the truck home. No fuel pump was needed, misdiagnosis of the issue. I'd like to think it was an honest mistake and not predatory.

Business response:

Kyle, thank you for explaining this sequence. We understand why being told that a major fuel-pump repair might be necessary, and then learning that the vehicle started after the key was reprogrammed, would leave you questioning both the diagnosis and the communication around the work. Our responsibility is to explain what we found, what we changed, and what remains uncertain before a customer makes a repair decision. If a key-programming issue was part of the troubleshooting, that should have been clearly communicated so yo... read more

TLDR: Expensive, responsive, quick work. I called at 7:30 AM and got to bring my car at 11 AM same day. My Toyota Corolla 2016 had a trunk issue. Trunk wouldn't open. Diagnostic charge is $125 flat. They finished the diagnostics in 1.5 hours. They gave recommendations and asked if I wanted to get repair done here. The cost of the repair/replacement was $518. I chose not to do the service here because it's expensive. Pros: - very responsive, fast in terms of picking up the calls and texting when inspection is done. - c... read more

Business response:

We're glad to hear that we were able to accommodate you with a same-day appointment and that the diagnostics were completed in a timely manner for your Toyota Corolla 2016. What could have been an absolute NIGHTMARE! Took my car to these guys for a wheel alignment less than 2 weeks ago (which they are overpriced to begin with). Yesterday as I'm leaving my works parking lot a bolt falls out of my passenger side lower strut mount. That caused my passenger side wheel to completely tow in and had to stop my car immediately. If I happened to be on the freeway, this could've been very bad. Not only did they not take accountability but LIED and told me that they don't touch any lower strut mount bolt... read more

Business response:

Hi Cody, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're very sorry to hear how concerning this situation was for you. Reading through your review, it's clear the biggest issue wasn't simply the alignment itself—it was that you left feeling your safety concerns weren't taken seriously and that your questions weren't addressed in a way that gave you confidence. We understand how unsettling it would be to experience a mechanical issue shortly after a service, especially one that affected the way your vehicle dr... read more

I originally called this business to get a quote for an alternator replacement and made it clear from the beginning that I already had my own part. Based on that, I was quoted $600 and scheduled an appointment. Then, two days before my appointment, they called and told me they were raising the price from $600 to $780 specifically because I was bringing my own part, even though they already knew that when they gave me the original quote. Because of that last-minute price increase, I asked if they would at least replace the ... read more

Hi Jay, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're very sorry to hear your experience left you feeling disappointed. Reading through your review, it's clear the biggest issue wasn't simply the final price—it was that the expectations changed after you had already scheduled the work. We understand how frustrating it is to receive an initial quote, make plans based on that information, and then have the pricing change shortly before your appointment. We also understand why the additional confusion surround... read more

No experience with this company yet but I want to know what their average price is for replacing brakes? Can anyone please help me out with an answer if you have had your brakes checked out or changed here?

I called ahead for an oil change and was asked for the year, make, and model of my truck. I was told the price was normally $130, but that a coupon would bring it down to $79. When I arrived, I was then told my truck required more oil and the price would actually be $97. That felt like a bait and switch. The staff was friendly, but this experience made it hard to trust them, so I won't be returning for future service.

I want to give negative stars. If you're a woman do not bring your car here. I brought my Subaru in to this shop to diagnose a leak, and they took advantage of me to the max. Let me start off by saying I started noticing a bit harder idle. Its at 119,000 miles and I've gotten the oil changes every 3,000 to 6,000 miles depending on how long or hard it was driven. I check the oil and level every other fill up and never noticed any coolant in my engine, never got a light, never overheated - regularly check my levels. They talk... read more

Business response:

We’re sorry this experience was frustrating. However, several statements in this review do not accurately reflect what was documented and discussed during the visit in May of 2025. Upon inspection, oil was visibly present in the cooling system, which was confirmed during pressure testing. The coolant hoses were found to be out of specification and expanding under pressure, which is why replacement was recommended and authorized. After replacement, the cooling system held pressure as designed. Multiple diagnostic tests were p... read more
