I called ahead for an oil change and was asked for the year, make, and model of my truck. I was told the price was normally $130, but that a coupon would bring it down to $79. When I arrived, I was then told my truck required more oil and the price would actually be $97. That felt like a bait and switch. The staff was friendly, but this experience made it hard to trust them, so I won't be returning for future service.

I want to give negative stars. If you're a woman do not bring your car here. I brought my Subaru in to this shop to diagnose a leak, and they took advantage of me to the max. Let me start off by saying I started noticing a bit harder idle. Its at 119,000 miles and I've gotten the oil changes every 3,000 to 6,000 miles depending on how long or hard it was driven. I check the oil and level every other fill up and never noticed any coolant in my engine, never got a light, never overheated - regularly check my levels. They talk... read more

Business response:

We’re sorry this experience was frustrating. However, several statements in this review do not accurately reflect what was documented and discussed during the visit in May of 2025. Upon inspection, oil was visibly present in the cooling system, which was confirmed during pressure testing. The coolant hoses were found to be out of specification and expanding under pressure, which is why replacement was recommended and authorized. After replacement, the cooling system held pressure as designed. Multiple diagnostic tests were p... read more

I made an appointment through the corporate phone number. I asked for a spark plug change. I was told the cost is usually $350 but they were running a special of$50 off. l was told my car would be serviced by an experienced mechanic and that it should take about two hours. When I got there I was told the cost would be over $500. They finally came down to $427.77. Since I had already taken the time off, I agreed to go ahead. After four hours, was told it was taking so long because a trainee was doing the work. When they fin... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for any frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points regarding your visit. The initial estimate provided by our remote scheduling team was based on limited vehicle information and assumed a 4-cylinder engine. Once your vehicle was inspected in person, it was confirmed to be a 6-cylinder, which requires significantly more labor (approximately four hours versus under one hour). Based on the correct vehicle configuration, the total cost of the repair would normally ... read more

I didn't use them because their estimate for an alternator replacement was way too high and they wanted $100 extra for a diagnostic . And if I didn't get the diagnostic it would void their warrantee. No Way Jose

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We don’t see a record of a completed visit associated with this review, but we’d like to clarify our policy. We provide a 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on our repairs. To stand behind that warranty, we do require performing a diagnostic to confirm the root cause of the issue before replacing parts such as an alternator. Without properly diagnosing the vehicle, we cannot guarantee that a repair will resolve the problem, which is why warranty coverage would not apply if a diagnostic is declined. ... read more

Very disappointed. I will Never go back. Told me my brakes were "fine" when days later new mechanic discovered metal on metal on back brakes. Didn't reset maintenance light after oil change. Try to upsell front end parts. 2 hour oil change. Staff constantly complaining in front of customers. What a disaster! On Zion Ave location.

Business response:

We're very sorry to hear about your experience, and we take feedback like this seriously. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to locate a customer record under your name, so we’re missing the details needed to fully understand what happened. We never want a customer to leave feeling disappointed, and the concerns you mentioned are far from the standard we aim to uphold. If you could contact us directly at (619)283-8006, we’d appreciate the opportunity to look into this further and make things right if we fell short. We value hone... read more

phone call estimate was way off from the price it ended up to be. They said they did the repair but I'm not sure cause they couldn't even remove the service light. Don't recommend. "stress free" more like stressful.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. When you brought in your Porsche Panamera, we initially recommended OEM brakes to ensure the highest quality and performance. After you expressed concern about the cost and asked about the phone quoted price, we offered to explore lower-cost alternatives to match the phone quote, but ultimately, you chose to proceed with the original equipment parts, which do come at a premium. We apologize if that wasn’t communicated clearly... read more

Giving two stars for availability and Veteran discount. I drove all the way to SD to have my Transmission oil and filter replaced /was $40 in Gas, with the quoted price of $287 to $450, phone quote, tranny filter, seal and oil.  I got there and the gentleman told me it was going to be $700. 2hr job he says, 180 an hr labor he says and if you bring your own parts it goes up to $220 an hr.. $450 for the oil only.  Not sure how removing a few bolts on a filter and putting a $50 filter back in increased the price $400. This pl... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We're truly sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations, and we appreciate you giving us the chance to address your concerns. We understand how frustrating it can be when the final cost of a service is different from what you expected. We always strive to be transparent with our pricing and give accurate estimates over the phone. We apologize if there was any miscommunication. The quoted range of $287–$450 was for a transmission fluid exchange, which is different from a transmission ... read more

Change the business hours on this app! I was booked for an appointment for Saturday and waited for about 30 mins outside thinking that the mechanic was coming in to diagnose my car. However, I called the office number just to be told that someone made a mistake for scheduling me on a Saturday through yelp. I was sent a confirmation text and everything. Additionally when I texted yelp that I will be late, I received a reply stating, "It's ok. We will see you soon." This gave me reassurance that I was going to be helped once I... read more

Business response:

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the significant inconvenience you experienced with your recent appointment. We are truly sorry that you were sent to our La Mesa location on Saturday, which was closed. This was a result of a recent acquisition and a regrettable scheduling error by our team, who mistakenly booked your appointment at that location instead of our San Diego (Allied Gardens) store, which is only 10 minutes away. We understand your frustration, especially considering you received confirmation and reassuri... read more
