Brought my van here about a month ago. Paid 1300 for radiator and 100 for the inspection. Not sure if it's because I am a young student or because car is not in great condition, but I was told nothing about what was wrong with my car and they showed/explained me nothing about what they did/changed. I was referred here by a friend of the owners and was so happy with how my experience went. I had a broken hose in my cooling system and Matt and his team got right on it. I was scrambling to not miss a ton of work and the guys had the parts and repairs knocked out within a few hours same day. I really appreciate their work ethic and understanding of my urgency with the repairs. I used to come here with my '94 Mitsubishi vr4 when I lived in Mission Gorge and Matt and his team always did excellent work and treated me like family. The time came to sell my aging car, so my wife and I saddled up with new vehicles and as I do my own basics (oil/rotate tires, etc) did not have a need for a regular mechanic yet. Matt is a reliable trustworthy and knows what he is doing. Small parking lot, but service is excellent. Make sure you call first to schedule your car services. I get my smog check here and other maintenance services. I would recommend this business.

I believe Matt and his team are one of the few honest car mechanics out there. For example, I was going to be charged over $1700 for a 100k service tuneup at a dealership. Without sharing the price to Matt and explaining what I needed done, I was quoted less than a third of that price. He's upfront with you and frowns on dealerships charging exorbitant rates. Doesn't warranty their work, which was questionable in the first place. Plenty of better places to take your car.
