I was referred to Structured by a home inspector and I have sent the pictures of their "completed" work to them as well. Initially the interaction with the organization was good. We were able to schedule the job and it appeared that we were well on our way to having the job completed to our satisfaction but that was not the final outcome at all. The piers were were installed in the home but the holes were left exposed with the piers clearly visible. Instead of backfilling the holes and watering in the dirt, the crew instead ... read more

Business response:

Responding to a negative review is always daunting, but responding to a negative review that has validity is even worse. The customer is correct, our communication after the job was lacking. Our crew did use the customer’s restroom, which is against our company policy. Our superintendent offered the customer a check for $[Member Information Removed].00 as an apology. We had hoped that would help alleviate some of the customers frustration. Our superintendent promised to send a crew to fill sinkholes. Usually we tell the cust... read more

This review is for Eric Anderson, the structural analyst/sales rep that came to my house. Because of him, Structured Foundation Repair is the only company I will consider for my foundation issues. I've collected bids from 8 different companies and he is the only person (including the independent engineer I've used in the past) that helped me fully understand the type of things I need to consider before doing any foundation work. Everyone else just came in, gave their opinion and tried to sell me their plan. Eric took the tim... read more

We appreciate the time you took and the detail you included in this review. Eric is a big part of our success and we are glad you noticed.

The salesman lied to me about the process that would be used. The crew leader left and didn't come back till job was almost done. now i have 20 plus cracks in my sheetrock and my brick is cracked in at least two places.

Business response:

To whom it may concern: RE: Response to complainant [Member Name Removed] [Member Information Removed] Cir., Weatherford Texas The customer's complaint says, "The salesman lied to me about the process that would be used. The crew leader left and didn't come back till the job was almost done. Now I have 20 plus cracks in my sheetrock and my brick is cracked in at least two places." First of all, We don't lie to customers about the process. What would be the point of that? For this particular repair, the settlement of the area... read more

They "fixed" my foundation and said my house would settle back in a month or two.... fast forward to 6 months and it got worse! I’m talking 1” cracks in my upstairs walls, the whole house is splitting into two. I called Structure Foundation back out to let them look at how bad it had gotten and I was told I needed 24 new jacks. 24! I had 3 other companies (including Brown Foundation) come out and was told that Structured Foundation should have never installed the jacks earlier that year, thus I wouldn't have had to pay the p... read more

Business response:

Response to [Member Name Removed] Review To Whom it may concern, We are very sorry that the customer is not happy with the fact that she needs additional repairs. However, she has played fast and loose with the facts and has libeled us in a public forum. The customer purchased a foreclosed property from a bank in 2014. The bank had apparently had another company install 6 piers (2 piers were installed on the right side near a bathroom and 4 piers in the front around the left side of the kitchen). In August of 2015, the custo... read more

Before hiring this company, I had hired an engineer to come assess my home to tell me what exactly I needed. Initially, Structured Foundation Repair gave me a quote of beams and piers and price. informed them of the report details of the engineer and the list of things he said would need to be done. They said that they had done everything in his report. After they finished their work, everything was fine for a small time. After about 6 months and some significant rain, I started to notice that the house was shifting. I devel... read more

Business response:

In order to address this customer's complaint, I have established a brief timeline of events that transpired. In September of 2014 the customer contacted Structured Foundation Repairs. She stated that her contractor was doing work on her home and thought she might have a potential foundation problem. Our Structural Analyst visited the home and recommended installing 7 exterior pilings and re-setting/re-shimming the understructure. His proposal included a Third Party Professional Engineers report before and after work. The cu... read more

WAS QUOTED ONE PRICE BUT IT NEARLY DOUBLED WHEN WORK WAS COMPLETED. GUY THAT CAME OUT TO INSPECT AND GIVE QUOTE. HE QUOTED A LOW PRICE BECAUSE HE SAIL THAT HE DID NOT FIND ANY ROTTED WOOD BEAMS. BUT WHEN WORKERS CAME THEY FOUND ROTTED WOOD BEAMS ALL AROUND FOUNDATION WITHIN THE FIRST 5 MINS. I FEEL I WAS SCAMED AND WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE EVER.

Business response:

I apologize for the delay in responding to this review. We did not know the review was here until today (09/08/2016) This customer had work done in 2013. The crew chief noted that the customer was happy with the repairs when completed and the customer paid promptly. The Third Party Engineer signed off on the repairs and the new buyer transferred the warranty to his name in October 2013. We have no documented evidence that Mr. [Member Name Removed] was unhappy with his repairs. He no longer owns the property and all subsequen... read more

I contacted this company for an estimate on a foundation repair project. This house was owned my my mother during a previous foundation problem, and this company gave a bid on the job. Something I did not know. My mother chose another company to do the work at the time (2010). I took over ownership of this house when my mother died 2 years ago, and am looking for estimates on a new problem. I did contact the company that did the last job, but haven't heard back. When I spoke to Structured Foundations this morning, I was told... read more

We have several piers either installed or adjusted. The adjusted piers were installed fromprevious foundation companies. It was atwo-day job. The crew was punctual, andprofessional. However, at least a monthprior to the work being performed, I still hadn?t heard from an engineeringfirm or utility locator service to set up a time to come out, as they weresupposed to do. On at least threeoccasions, I either left phone messages or emails to my representative, askingwhen these companies would be contacting me, but I never receiv... read more

Business response:

We appreciate the feedback on the repairs and the events leading up to the repairs. I think I can explain what happened. First of all, the engineers that we use are third party contractors. While we have control over when we contact them to perform an inspection, we have no control over when they actually go. In this particular case, there were several changes made to the proposed repairs that required several visits to the home over the course of 2 months. The original evaluation was on October 14, 2015 and the version of t... read more
