RecommendedSumner veterinary Hospital has been great to us Ken the physical therapist Dr. Cooper all taken care of our little girl and helping her and we really appreciate it and then talk to us and tell us what’s going on and how it affects her when she was not walking six months ago she is now. Not our regular vet because of location, but they’ve come through for us in our hardest moments of need that are never during business hours. Every tech, assistant and doc has always been so warm, welcoming and reassuring. The care is excellent and I always leave feeling like the best was done for my pet. In walk in situations there is a wait, but caseload is not something they can control so I get that. Excellent service and standard of care.

These guys (gals) are the absolute best. we have used them for years and have always been treated very well. We recently had our dog in there for emergency pyometra surgery and they did a fantastic job! After being quoted $6000-$7000 from Summit vet in Tacoma these sweethearts gave me a range of $2,700-$4,400. I paid the $2,700 and dropped my dog off. Huge shout out to your team! Thank you for seeing and treating Phoebe today. Each of you were terrific! Our labrador seemed to have had an allergic reaction to something and ended up with significant swelling around her mouth and eye. To ensure she didn't have further swelling that might lead to breathing issues - we immediately took her in. This was our first visit to Sumner Veterinary Hospital. Based on our experience today, we won't hesitate to return. Thanks again!!
Very caring staff and excellent veterinarians. I brought my cat here for an upper respiratory infection and they took amazing care if him. could not recommend more highly and I am so grateful for the entire staff.

THANK YOU for kindly and calming stitching up our really mean little dog, Jim. The staff were amazing, especially considering the aggressive nature of our mean little dog. They were really nice about it and he left cleaned, stitched and drugged up. I was really impressed with this place overall and though I live in Roy and hope not to have another emergency, if I do; we'll come back here for sure.
