Do not do business with this facility! My mother put down a deposit of $[removed] to rent one of their rooms in [date removed] with her debit card. On [date removed], I had advised the director that my mother changed her mind about renting the room. The director dvised me that she would immediately process her refund of the $[removed] but the refund would be in the form of a check and it would take 30 to 45 days to be mailed out from their California corporate office. Last week I went to see my Mom, went in her room her toilet was a mess, I needed a plunger because her toilet was clogged at the memory care they did not have one and a staff member told me she did see her toilet had a mess and was waiting for housekeeping, I went to the front desk and she tried calling Mnt they were gone, but she did find a plugger for me, also I saw that her close were not clean and she had about two weeks' worth of cloth in the hamper my sister said the week before she had spoken to a staff member and the... read more

I am aware that my brother does not get a diabetic menu. He is served meals that are not good for him. His apartment is never clean when I visit. Cleaning staff needs help. I think there needs to be more activities for men. Most are geared to women.

They better be able to do everything own their own, even though it's listed assistant living, my mother, didn't get that much assistance from the staff. I just read some of the reviews and no way this place is a 5 star

We also looked at the other reviews to try to understand your complaint. We see that out of 156 reviews, only 19 reviews are three stars or less and most are older than the current staff. We have made great strides in improving care services as each resident has a tailored service plan and assessment, along with many other elements. If you have the time, the Executive Director would like to have a personal conversation with you to understand more fully your overall concerns.

Communication is big. The staff I don't know is fully attentive because we went in on Mother's Day to visit her and she was soaked in urine and we told them that the chair was wet and nobody clean the chair

-New Years Eve: She went to Urgent Care. Then there were about ten phone calls just to get her a ride back. -Outings: There hasn't seemed to have been any or just not well communicated / easy. -The billing has been an issue, not a huge deal, just annoying. Room was nice / good size. In memory care we were disappointed with activities: didn't seem to be many. The outdoor area they have also doesn't feel outdoor no sky.

They promised to watch his blood sugar as he was diabetic and KNEW. 3 days at facility and i demanded they call paramedics. Blood sugar was 468 when they got there and over 526 when admitted to hospital. 9 days in hospital like hell I was putting him back there.

There are two sides to understanding this situation, but we are limited by health privacy laws as to what we can say. That said, we would never advise nor participate in any unsafe action such as the one taken by the resident which started a cascade into an emergency. We wish your family peace moving forward.

My mother has been a resident for nine months. She has received excellent care and attention, but there are a few areas of concern that should be addressed. First, the food. Based on the amount of money she spends every month, the quality of food should be better. Every day I hear her complain about the quality. She's not the only one, either. Her friends make it clear to me as well! Something needs to be done with the kitchen staff - more needed to serve in a timely fashion and improvement to the selection and taste. Second... read more

When we toured the facility, we were more than welcome with open arms, and obviously the facility was talked up and that’s normal when you’re trying to get somebody to move in they were under construction, which is nice however, I think they went with the cheapest flooring because it’s all wavy and it’s not all completely finished, but it’s not the greatest job in the whole world for the construction that they’re doing.
