I do recommend and appreciate the staff from Sunrise for all their help in detoxing and being a part of a group that were helping me.
I was at Sunrise House for Detox in December 2021. The staff was very helpful, welcoming and supportive. Albert, Marcin, Sarah and Tim were my favorite Nurses and greeted me everyday as well as everyone else with respect, kindness and support. Ms. Gonzalez always had our backs and helped everyone as much as she could to ease our concerns. My room was clean and bed was comfy. I met most of my goals here. I had met a great person whom supports me Brianna L. was the biggest help, Jessie the counselor and the techs were good to me.
I made the best of my stay but communication between staff and organization was an issue. Counselors were great. Clinicians could have been more compassionate.
Everyone here has been very welcoming and really care about your progress throughout the program. They have a very caring and helpful staff. The counselors are always available. Amy was an amazing counselor. I was lucky to have her, and Kurtis is awesome. The one thing is some nurses could use more training, but for the most part are really great. Some nurses in facility needed to improve greatly in areas of compassion of their patients. Many nurses need to be educated in the medications they are giving their patients. A specific discharge planner, Alex was was wreckless and at her job and it cause a lot of unnecessary anxiety and great stress for me in the last days of my stay.
