I really got my head back together and was able to also work on self care. No place is perfect because I've been to many rehabs. I'm a veteran so I'm speaking about the VA as well. This place is a great place to go if your serious about getting your life back together.
I had reached the end of my rope after 21 years of daily drinking, I walked into Sunrise House knowing that this was my time to get sober. The staff was a balanced mix of nice, empathetic and tough love. I spent 27 days there and it was honestly like a vacation that I needed from my life at the time, the food was pretty good, the facilities were clean and my days were filled with over 7 hours a day of their program. Great Staff
Water was cold 5 of the 7 days. No where to walk. only smoking area. Nice staff.. Good food.. 'Dont always get your meds right either. no hobbiies to do no cell phones alllowed at allllll even though pre asked about it.
the sunrise house was very informative for the most ,and the staff was incredible.
If you’re looking for a place to be honest with yourself and get sober this is the place. I have not only gotten sober Sunrise House but I have met new family members there amongst the staff and the other patients. I was a patient back in November 2020 and recently in May 2021 and I was scared to come back because I was fear of the judgment about coming back to rehab and they welcomed me with loving words and open arms. 4/28/20 is when I came to sunrise in Lafayette,NJ. It was at the heights of covid-19 and sunrise was one of the only rehab that my family could find for me to go get help so I went and they took really good care of me was very helpful and kind. A very professional staff and courageous staff for the willingness to help us addicts in our crisis during the pandemic.
